Mighty good refurb laptop
There are 2 quarter-inch blemishes on outside top (visible from across the room if you look), and a small concrete-impact imprint on one corner, but otherwise beautiful condition and these are minor. Works well so far. Long battery life. Mine is the 16 RAM, 1 TB SSD, vendor PDI Mobile. Latest OS Sequoia 15.5 (not the older Ventura like it said online) and now updated to 15.6. The keyboard looks brand new, no worn-out keys. The display is like new, no blemishes or scratches. Both USB-C ports have a good grip. Not a touch screen.

Great Little MacBook
Beyond happy with this purchase. I needed a small laptop for going back to college and this one fit my needs and budget. It’s in very good shape for being refurbished. There are light surface scratches and little nicks here and there but it works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase! It’s very small and lightweight so very portable and easy to stick in my backpack.

Deal of the Century – Flawless MacBook M1 Air
I rarely write reviews, but this MacBook Air M1 deserves it. This was hands-down the best tech purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. The device arrived in excellent condition—screen, keyboard, ports, and battery all perfect. It runs flawlessly, even on the macOS Tahoe beta, which I wasn’t expecting from a base model with 8GB RAM.

First time Mac buyer, on the fence about purchasing brand new
I was looking for a Mac to purchase for some entry-level music creation, mixing, production, etc - but also looking for something to just have for typical portable computing things I would find pretty inconvenient on a smartphone. Never owned a Mac before, so the choice fatigue was REAL.I purchased the 512GB storage, 8GB RAM model, and so far it is perfect for what I need. I have high standards for technology and performance, being in the IT field, and this laptop knocks it out of the park. The performance for what you pay for is incredible (and that's not to say this laptop is a budget system). The M1 chip more than keeps up with my audio workflows, multiple applications open, etc. MacOS is so optimized and balanced that you would never notice this device has 8GB of RAM.Initially I returned my first refurbished M1 air and got the new M3 air because I wasn't fully aware of what it was capable of. After using the M3 air for about a week, I realized it was actually TOO overpowered for what I am looking to use it for. Returned it, and got this refurbished M1 air. Bottom line, if you need something for light-to-medium creative work with amazing battery life, build quality, and something that just keeps going and going, this is a perfect choice. On to the refurbishing quality. It's perfect. The battery must've been replaced, because it has 100% health, which is awesome to see on a refurb system. The screen is perfect as well. Not even a micro scratch. Keyboard is perfect as well. All around, the system is like brand new. It was either VERY well taken care of by the previous owner, or the components were replaced to make it resellable. Either way, it's perfect in and out.Charger and cable included were aftermarket, however they are similar quality to the original charger, and work exactly the same.

Worth the price!!! Like 100% new!
I’d give it a 5 star if the package included the power plug and charging cable. They were not included in my case so please make sure of that before you buy it.However, I have to give props to the tiptop condition of the laptop, it looked extremely new and everything is perfect. No scratches, no icloud, no nothing. Battery health was also at 100%. Besides no charger, I’m extremely happy with it..it’s below $500 after all. Thank you very much

Strongly Recommend
So, this is the second Macbook I've ordered from Chrome Source. The first one had a bad battery, and I had issues with Chrome Source that don't need to be discussed. Long story short, I purchased another Macbook and this one seems to be fantastic. I believe that my issues with Chrome Source were (unfortunately for me) an isolated event, and they do seem to produce good refurbished products.

Good, but could be better
I purchased this MacBook in July 2024 for college and work purposes, and since then I have enjoyed my use while running into a few errors. The display, function, appearance, and quality of the MacBook were overall wonderful, while the price was not. It cost well over $600 during the time of purchase, while being less than $500 a year later. The device does not overheat, and runs basic office functions and games like Sims 4 or Cities Skylines very well with quick response. The laptop, however, is not very durable in that the trackpad stopped responding and the left arrow key slipped off and into the crevice between the screen and the keyboard. I had not noticed it was stuck since it is the same color, and when closing the bottom of the screen had cracked. This was outside the return window, and it did not cause much problem until July 2025, when closing the MacBook is now enough for the screen to display bright vertical lines that do not go away. I am heartbroken at having to pay for another laptop, but I doubt this one will last much longer given that the lines flicker even when closing the device. It was a good laptop while it lasted.
