This suitcase is AMAZING. Purchased for my five year old to manage his own carryon at the airport AND have the flexibility of removing the suitcase part so we could scoot around town on vacation. It worked perfectly for both purposes.Construction: Based on other reviews I was a little worried about it being well-made and sturdy, but it was very solid when I received it. The color is nice too. After our trip and scooting around town all week, it looks just as good now as it did out of the box.Scooter Function: Steering took a little bit of practice since it is based on turning handles to steer compared to most scooters that lean to turn, but once he got the hang of it, it maneuvered well (even fits through the center aisle on the airplane). When the suitcase is full and the scooter is down it's a little top-heavy, and you do have to keep a foot on it to keep it from tipping forward, but it's just as easy to kick the scooter part up and stands up just fine that way. The handle has three height-settings which was just fine for my kiddo and should help him keep using it as he continues to grow. Switching the scooter up/down and retracting the handle was very quick which was great for security at the airport. Removing the suitcase from the scooter is super simple. Re-attaching it takes a bit of finesse.Function as Carry-on: After reading the actual measurements relative to the size of a normal carryon, I was worried about it fitting in the overhead compartment, but it fit just fine on two different planes/airlines. The actual interior of the suitcase has a deeper side with elastic bands you can clip, and on the other it has a thin large zip-up pocket, one smaller zip up pocket, and another thin pocket with mesh. I used packing cubes for my son's clothing on the deeper side so that when I opened it it wouldn't spill out and that was great, but absent cubes, the deeper side wouldn't be quite as functional. I fit 5 yo clothing for a 4 night trip, a handful of stuffed animals, small toiletry bag, meds/vitamins, and a sound machine in it. The zipper is pretty sturdy too so it handled being a bit stuffed just fine.Overall I would absolutely recommend this for folks with small travelers who don't love to walk. I think it boosted airport confidence, made it easy to get around town on vacation, and is completely worth the money.

Great, sturdy scooter. I like that you can take the luggage off of the scooter, and the scooter is really good quality to use on its own. My kids really like it. It’s also very convenient to fold, easy to do with one hand, and fits right on the floor of the Passenger seat of a car. And folds really easily to go onto a plane. expensive but worth it.

We travel quite a bit and our youngest used the kiddietotes hard shell scooter bag for years. It held up to plenty of abuse. She grew out of that one and then we purchased this Iubest one hoping for a similar experience. Unfortunately, this scooter bag is poorly made. She has used it for less than a year and it is already malfunctioning (the top part with the handlebars is off center making it hard to steer while riding and the wheel assembly is loose and wobbly making it hard to pull when in suitcase mode). Even right out of the box, the room inside the luggage is small and the suitcase will not stand up on its own when packed. You have to lay it down if you don’t want it to tip over. This bag is way over priced and will not hold up for real travel.

These are awesome, I bought them for both of my grandchildren and they loved them. Everyone in the airport asked where they got them. They use them all the time. They have held up to my grandchildren and that says a lot. These are fun way for kids to enjoy traveling.

Great product, my son loves it. Easy to use and relatively lightweight. I love the ability to remove the scooter from the suitcase so that my son can use it freely otherwise. Highly recommend it.

Ordered 2 of these for my 5 and 8 year old to use. We’ve used it 3 different trips and noticed halfway through our last trip the handle bar and wheels seemed extra wiggly on one of them. After inspecting, it seems one of the screws somehow managed to back out completely from the bracket. Made it through the trip but found the other screw to have also come off by the time we got home. Luckily we made it home before it fell apart. Other scooter luggage is still intact but now I’m worried about how sturdy these are. For the price, I expected more than 3 trips worth. Not even sure how to find the right screw and bracket for these.

I bought a blue and a pink one and took them on a trip— the blue one had a sewing mishap on the zipper I didn’t notice until we were already on our trip, and it kept ripping a little more with each leg of our journey. It never fully ripped open but we were nervous it would. I reached out to the company to explain how this wasn’t wear and tear, and they were so kind and helpful! They reviewed my pictures/videos and sent me a new bag. I’m very satisfied with this customer support, plus my 5 and 8 year olds absolutely adore the bags— it makes travel in the airport soooo much easier! The only thing that is not ideal when they use it is that if the bag is attached and they don’t have their weight on the scooter part when it’s out, the bag falls forward, which knocked down my 5 year old once or twice till she understood what *not* to do when coming to a stop. Otherwise she’s had no issues after that. We use them as carry-on bags and just detach the scooter from the bag and store the scooter over the bag in the overhead bins or the flight attendants have agreed to stash them up in the first class coat closet for me a couple times too.
