Digital Inside Caliper inch/Metric/Friction 0-6"

I am impressed with the workmanship and functionality of the device. I can now easily measure round spheres for my Etsy Business. Prior to this device I had to make estimates with my dial calipers. The measurement process is easy to use.

I use this digital caliper to determine the wall thickness of the sidewalls and base of my lathe turning projects in order to prevent “blowout”. A very accurate and handy device which comes with a spare battery and has an “auto off” feature.

Difficult to get a consistent reading as the pressure you apply dictates the measurement slightly plus or minus about half a mm or so.

Ever wanted to know the thickness of glass used for a fish tank? This is your key to the answer! Fish tanks often have trim that keeps you from using a standard caliper on it. But with this, I can measure the glass without bothering with the trim. My only problem with it is that the measurements get so accurate, that it will change very quickly if there is ANY angle to the tool what so ever, while trying to measure. So 11/16th's may turn into 23/32nd's with the tiniest least-noticeable twist of the tool. And glass is often measured in "standard" sizes, even if they are off by a millimeter. So it's best to get to know the standards of thickness for what you are measuring so you can get it as close as possible to what you're reading.

Good one. I like it pretty well. Only minor thing is I tend to cover the display with my hand when taking a reading. You kind of have to adjust the way you would naturally hold it in order not to cover it.

I store this in its original package, used it for woodworking and now it’s gone haywire. I had to edit my review, because after changing the battery, it is working again. Great value for the price and solving the ability to measure concave thickness’s.

I turn a lot of wooden bowls, and this tool is perfect for measuring wall thickness and consistency. I have a number of iGaging measuring devices and all of them are innovative, durable and well-designed. They are priced reasonably and are a great value in my opinion. I highly recommend them to anybody working wood or metal.

i bought this a year ago so i cannot return it,the unit will not reset to 0 no matter what i try!numbers keep changing.
