SanDisk 128GB Ultra Dual Drive USB Type-C - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDDDC2-128G-G46, Gray

I use this flash drive for Mp3 music in my car (it plugs into the USB port). I have over 1,100 songs on it. At 256GB I may never fill it up.I chose this SanDisk flash drive for the capacity, price, the double ended contacts (USB and USB C) and have always had good luck with SanDisk products in the past.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Got this for a friend to backup photos and it works great. I'll be getting one for myself

I have bought many of these. I have devices with both B&C so it is great that I don't have to find the adapter to use when moving data from one to another. I haven't had one fail yet. I would rather pay a bit more for a brand that has been dependable for me. The speed seems to be more dependent on the device. The item is small and easy to carry with dual connectors. Read speed is fine. However, write speed is sometimes really slow (when I transferred ~10GB of file the speed is down to 15MB/s) and heats up a lot. That's when automatic disconnection occurs.It's convenient for smaller files like documents, but not recommended for bigger files. Given the capacity of 64/128GB available, I think a faster write speed would be preferred for this USB drive. Otherwise I'd recommend portable SSD for larger files.

I got this device to help store photos from my phone in it. I had to search Videos first to learn how too. But after that it is very simple to use from phone and computer. I purchased a 2nd one for future storage. Very pleased

As soon as I received the flash drive I unpacked it and hooked it right to my wife's phone the main reason I purchased, she had 51g's of just video and 30g's of photo's on her phone and it was dragging so slow it wouldn't send or receive texts messages.. This drive moved her photos over in less than 10 minutes which I thought was pretty fast for that many pic's and the video's took close to 30 minutes to transfer, still a decent speed for these large files.. The flash drive did get hot moving at those speeds keep that in mind. But it performed very well and very satisfying I was able to wipe the phone right after to get her phone back to operating like it was supposed to.. It might take you a few minutes finding how to setup the transfer, then stand back and let it do it's thing! I would buy again..
