My budding 10-year-old artist loves these for drawing manga. Great value as you get plenty, which is perfect for trial and error while learning. They’re good enough for beginners but still suitable for more experienced artists too. Nice fine lines, smooth ink flow, and durable enough for tweens, teens, and adults alike.

Great pens. waterproof, archival and won't bleed when watercolour is applied over the top. The nibs are robust and they produce consistent lines. These are the only make of pens that I will use for my line and wash paintings. Don't be afraid to pay that bit more for this set, you will not regret it.

These pens are brilliant, they come in lots of sizes and are also waterproof. The really fine ones aka the 003 and 005 are so good for delicate textures and tiny details, whereas the 12 is so good for blocking in larger areas. The only niggle is that refillable ones would be great, as they are plastic and once they're done they go in the bin. I have bought the grey ones, and I'm in love with the grey brush pens as they create amazing shadows. The red sun in my pic is red biro, just so I don't mislead anyone but the rest is in the fineliners.

These are my go to pens but unfortunately the 0.8mm was dried out. Rest of the pack give a great smooth finish and if are left to properly dry they are quite durable.

Wow! I never knew it was possible to have nibs this small! They write beautifully, they don’t bleed through paper, really good quality and weight to them. Would recommend

I have been using Sakura Pigma Micron pens for quite a few years and prefer them to all other pens. The tips are long lasting and available in a bigger range of sizes than other brands. Even the very finest tip sizes are not easy to damage and will outlast the ink. The ink is a deep matte black and stays exactly where you put it with no smudging or feathering. It works great on every type of paper I have tried so far, including mixed media, watercolour, cartridge and marker paper. It works great with watercolours, acrylic paint, pencil sketches and water based or alcohol markers. There is a lot more ink in the pen than other similar brands so they just keep on going long after I would expect them to run out. They are a more expensive pen but they are so worth it. I have owned multiple sets and I plan to keep replacing them as needed.
