GE LED+ Motion Sensor LED Light Bulbs, 15W, PAR38 Outdoor Security Floodlight, Warm White (2 Pack)

The GE LED+ Motion Sensor Light Bulbs are an excellent upgrade for outdoor lighting. They are super bright yet give off a pleasant warm white glow that’s easy on the eyes. The motion sensor works perfectly — it detects movement right away and provides great coverage for my driveway and backyard.

Other kinds of motion detecting floodlights only come with one motion sensor operating both lights. You have to choose just one direction to point them. These lights each have their own sensor. This enabled me to point my existing floodlight fixture 180 degrees opposed from each other, and they light independently. I was a little hesitant to try these, reading another review that says they don't turn on. They don't turn on in daylight, but by design only come on after dark and with motion. I've had 4 of these for about a month now, and they have been great! Now they each come on only as needed. And if I happen to be inside when they come on, I can better tell what direction motion was detected.

A great product. It works as described. In general we love GE products. Our GE christmas tree is awesome too!!!!!! It still shines bright.

Good sensor lights, one start failing, it detects movement and turns on but stays on, the other one is working fine.

These work great. Purchased for our front porch. My husband decided he wanted them for the back patio, so I purchased another set. Simple to install. No app to download. Just screw them in.

We had a motion detector light in our backyard for about 30 years, and about two years ago, the detector part stopped working. A friend who knows electronics offered to hardwire the light socket to the power: screw a bulb in, it’s on; unscrew it, and it’s off. Not a good solution. He suggested we check on “smart” lightbulbs. While looking at those, I noticed these motion detector bulbs. If they can do this, we can use our old lamp and be good to go. One big tip: because our light was now hard-wired, as I screwed this new bulb in, it flickered on and off several times. WHICH INADVERTENTLY TURNS OFF THE MOTION DETECTOR FEATURE. I thought the light was no good as it wouldn’t turn off. Reading the instructions, I figured out what happened. Turned off the circuit breaker for over 3 seconds, returned the motion detector capability, and now all is good. This works as promised.

Do not buy the light fixture. The light will not turn off when in motion sensing mode. I wasted my entire afternoon installing these just for them to not work properly. I had three of them and they all failed to work correctly.

Works great. It is great for my back door walkway.

These are excellent , it has been a while they have working non stop.and had no issues. Nice color , potent. Well made.

Reading the reviews, and from personal experience. It looks like a % of the bulbs ship faulty. I ordered 2 bulbs, One of the 2 is always on, it never does turn off. What % of the bulbs are faulty, and what % is acceptable?
