It plugs the oil pan drain effectively!
Products like this tend to be a one or five star item (it ultimately works, or it doesn't). This one is a five star, because it functionally does exactly what it should do: plug the oil pan drain between oil changes. It was simple to use, and I've had no leaks since my last oil change last week. It is work the price because you don't want an oil leak when prevention is this affordable. I saw no issues with quality control.

Works Great!
I bought my 2019 Jeep Cherokee (Limited 2.0L Turbo) with a maintenance plan. So, when the plan expired, I tried to change my oil and discovered that the oil pan drain plug was cranked on so tight that I couldn't remove it. And why they used an oil drain plug with a 13mm head I have no idea. I almost stripped it out trying to remove it. Next, I took it to a garage thinking that they would remove it but discovered that they used a pump instead. Long story shortened, I bought this 16mm plug so that when I destroyed the old one after removing it, I'd have a ready - better replacement! It works GREAT!! I can now continue recycling my engine oil! 5-Stars

Thread pitch was perfect
Oil drain plug fit my Jeep Wrangler 2.4 and my Dodge Journey 2.4. Plug has a high density plactic washer that might flatten if over tightened. The hex head fits tight with a good quality 16 mm wrench or socket. If you have a 3/8 drive 6 or 12 point socket and and a torque bar/rachet I would suggest you torque to 20-25 foot lbs. The plastic washer gives a good seal on older vehicles that may have a rough sealing surface on the oil pan. The most likely reason you are replacing the plug is because it was over tightened and a worn wrench or socket rounded over the hex head.

Used on 2013 Chrysler 3.6. Works great.
Great replacement for 2013 Chrysler Town and Country with 3.6 v6 Took my van to Walmart for oil change and they rounded the head off my drain plug, next time I changed it.....surprise. The hex hed is larger which is good, more surface area to help prevent rounding. Great value.
