I use this to thicken meat based dishes and sauce. Works great. Better than adding flour, as this thickens and adds more flavor. The only minor downside is you have to be careful not to add any salt to your cooking when using this, as it does that for you.

Im so glad I purchased this! This gravy truly enhances my meals and even saved a meal before. Highly suggest keeping a jar in the seasoning stash.

It's a great thickener when cooking savory dishes- one example is making a rich meat sauce Italian gravey for pasta... ➡️ saute peppers and onions in some butter- then add 20% fat groundbeef- then once all cooked down- add one small can tomato paste and mix thru till even- add 12 oz Prego traditional red sauce- lastly- to keep that robust meaty flavor and buttery fat?? Tap some Mccormick and stir till consistency is to your liking! Then when everybody is enjoying your meaty pasta sauce- don't tell them my- our- secret 😏 😜
