Q: Bought this product can someone tell me how to adjust the distance? Mine came spraying the full 12' I need 8'. Thank you!

Okay to adjust the 0-360 you hold the very top by the black ridge and you turn it against the brown ring. To adjust the amount of water coming out 12' down to a lesser distance, the spray, you have to use a small flat head screwdriver in the center of the spray head, just like a regular sprinkler head, usually to lower the amount of water it is clockwise and to make it go the furthest you would go counterclockwise, just hold the black rim while doing that or you will unscrew the whole top off and have to go looking for where it went and deal with a geyser. Try doing that without water going because it can be very stiff in there, but once you have loosened it up some, then turn on the water and adjust it to exactly what you want.

Diameters are as follows: Head: 15/16" Shaft: 5/8" Riser Adjuster: 1"

Yes, it will work with a Hunter irrigation system. This particular item has 1/2" male threads.
