Clean, Simplistic and Functional Keyboard
***Pros***Simple Design • It's a rectangle with all the keys you need • No "extra" keys (macro keys/gaming keys) • Media controls are well laid out and functionalBuild Quality • The board itself is very solid • Switches are great • Overall, the materials used are goodAdjustability • I like that there are two different height settings for adjusting the keyboard angle (4 degrees and 8 degrees)Relatively quiet • Without o-rings installed, the typing experience is relatively quiet. Doesn't "clack" as much as some other keyboards.Price • Paid $79.99***Cons***SOME Materials • Glossy plastic on the sides of the keyboard which is bound to get completely ruined • Definitely not the most "robust" keycaps out there but that's to be expected at this price pointNo wrist rest included • Not the end of the world but would have been nice to include oneNo USB passthrough • Again… not the end of the world but would have been a nice addition***Other Thoughts***TL;DRSolid basic Cherry MX Brown keyboard at a good price point. Works perfectly for my work setup with a Logitech MX Master 2s. The design is simplistic and not anything that I would consider to be "gamer-y". There are a lot of features and a decent amount of lighting options for the white LEDs. To access to those features you need Logitech's software and that's not really a con because Logitech's software has generally been quite good. Overall, very satisfied with this keyboard and it is what I would consider to be a worthy successor to the G710+.FULL REVIEWI like Logitech's products. I'm no stranger to their mice, keyboards and speakers as I have used or recommended several of them over the years. For my work setup, I had a G710+ paired with a G502 Proteus Core. Overall that setup worked great but the only complaint I had was that the G710+ is a touch too wide due to the "angular" design and macro key row on the left side. So I wanted to find another full size keyboard that was backlit, simplistic in design (as close to a regular old rectangle as possible) and would be comparable to my G710+. Enter the G610 Orion Brown. So far this keyboard is a perfect replacement for my G710+. The features, the typing experience, the build quality and the overall feel is reminiscent of my G710+. I like the slightly smaller footprint because I don't hit my mouse up against the right side of the keyboard quite as often. The keyboard itself has all of the same basic features as the other one (sans the macro row). Physical media controls are nice to have as well as dedicated buttons for Win-Key lock and lighting brightness.I've only had this for a few days but I was able to quickly and comfortable transition over from the G710+. I'll have to see how the keyboard holds up after a few years of use but I have a feeling it will hold up just fine like the G710+ did and continues to do. Overall, satisfied with this purchase and can definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a basic gaming/work keyboard with relatively simplistic features and backlighting for a reasonable price.

Good to type on but keys keep falling out
I've owned this for four years and have just realized I never wrote a review. I loved the keyboard when I first had it, but had a problem with the keys falling out very easily. This was my first mechanical keyboard, so I assumed that it was just a mechanical keyboard trait, but I've bought two more mechanical keyboards since then (I have three desktop computers) and neither of them have the problem. My other complaint is that there's no way to simply turn the backlighting on and off. I have to cycle through all the brightness levels to turn it off. It's a nuisance and if done every day, eventually it's likely to wear out the button.Other than those two gripes, this is good keyboard, as long as you treat it gently enough for the keys to stay in. I don't like it as well as my other two mechanical keyboard, but it's decent. The keys have a good feel, they're not overly noisy, and the LED brightness is just about right. But the keys popping out is a real nuisance. In fact right now I'm looking for my right control key. It popped out and so far I haven't been able to find where it went.

Excellent feature list for less than $100
I upgraded from an old Rosewill Cherry MX Blue switch board to this one and I believe I prefer the Browns as an all around switch compared to the Blues for pure typing.Pros:- The software is really great. I know many people dislike having to use software for settings, especially gamers that want to move their keyboard/mouse around from one PC to another, but Logitech has come a long way since the early 2000's with their software. You can set different lighting styles, individual keys, zones, effects, and more. You can also specify exactly which keys to be disabled when the gaming button is pressed. More than that, you can create "G-Keys" which are basically macros/functions assigned to certain profiles or games.- The lighting is very simple and has a few programmable options, though I find that the software needs to be running for the keyboard to do what you ask.- The key caps are much nicer than the Rosewill plastic caps. The G610 has softer, matte caps that feel sturdy and do not make a ton of noise when bottoming out.- The media keys were what really caught my attention with this board. For under $100 it's tough to get a Cherry MX switch board with physical media keys AND volume control. The media keys click in a very satisfying way when pressed and the volume wheel is sturdy/heavy feeling.- Game switch button to disable Windows and Menu key when gaming.- Ten-key. I know this isn't a HUGE pro, but it's tough to find a board with all these features under $100.Cons:- As some other reviewers have said, my Function keys (and to a lesser extent, my number keys) are much too close to the board and will get stuck on normal use. I'm hoping they "break in" by roughing up the board, but it was worth removing a star because it feels like a build or quality control issue that Logitech should address.- This isn't so much of a con than an odd choice, but the Shift, Backspace, and Enter keys do not travel as much as the rest of the keys and feel like they have a very soft landing. The space bar also doesn't feel like a Cherry MX key, but more spring loaded. It's not a bother, just something I didn't expect to find.- The key caps collect grease like CRAZY. I don't eat pizza and game, but if you leave finger marks on your phone screen then you will also most likely leave marks on the key caps, especially the space bar. Didn't remove a star for this because I probably just have naturally oily fingers as I had this issue with my Rosewill too.Summary:Overall I recommend this board, especially if you're looking (like I was) for cherry mx switches, physical media keys (not function keys), and back lighting in a sub-$100 price range. I picked this up when it was $80 and couldn't be happier.

Excelente producto

Solid keyboard with neat features and good software, but the latter is mandatory to change backlight
Very nice minimalistic keyboard with braided cord, height adjuster and simple backlight. Backlight can be a bit annoying without software. The three position height adjuster is really great and unexpected since it wasn't advertised on amazon (check their website for full specs). I would have preferred a tenkeyless since I use it for work and would prefer it to be more portable, but that doesn't matter for many people. I use it as my work keyboard where I code all day alongside other developers, and I love it. You can't really go wrong with Cherry MX browns. It does take some getting used to as the keys feel kind of slippery when you start. My few irks with this is that you absolutely need the software to change the backlight setting from its original fade in and out. For a work setting where I only need one setting, I don't want to have to download a tool, I just want to be able to hit a macro and change it to light up when clicked on and that's it. Don't get me wrong, the software and the configurations possible with it are great, but I wish there was 2-3 options for different lightings integrated directly in the keyboard.Additionally, the media controls are nice, but the volume bar was the only one that actually worked for me (very little fiddling so your experience will vary).Overall it's a very good keyboard for a good price that is toned down and professional. If you don't mind having to download the software nor having the numpad, go for it.

Great keyboard but I don't want the software
Switched from a non-mechanical keyboard to one of these and I am very impressed by the quality. Thanks to the Cherry MX Brown switches, it isn't too loud, and all the keys have a nice, solid tactile feedback. It has probably been a decade since I've used a keyboard like this, and I'm enjoying it greatly -- it is satisfying to feel each key press. The media keys worked out of the box for me -- I appreciate the scroll style volume sliders, as it is much easier than hitting up or down on a volume button repeatably. Two things I do not like about the keyboard, though:1) No caps lock indicator on the actual button. It's above the F10 key, sandwiches between caps and num lock. Kind of an counter-intuitive place.2) Requires installing the Logitech software for lighting controls. By default, without the software, the keyboard will do a repeating left to white fade, which is probably the most annoying default you can have. Want it to be solid white? Need to install the software. Seems totally unnecessary -- I don't want to set up macros, backlight zones, or anything like that. I just want a normal, backlit keyboard, and I have to install an entire piece of software to do that.Overall, a really nice keyboard but just those two minor annoyances that prevent it from being exceptional.

Volume wheel is a must have.
There is a bit of coil whine from the keyboard when the backlight is at an intermediate setting, but no sound on max brightness or off. I wish the number lock indicator light were a bit less bright as it can be distracting. Overall very nice with good features. Going strong after 4 years of use.
