Pendaflex Portable File Box, Black, 11" H x 14" W x 6-1/2" D (41732)

This is very cheaply made. It’s a great size, but the hinges don’t fit together properly, and it’s a brittle plastic. It feels like my will crack when opened. Also, it was shoved in a box with no wrapping so it’s scratched and chipped. It’s junk.

This is the only file box in the smaller size that I found on amazon. I love it because I can keep it in the closet and pull it out when needed. I don't like the traditional size ones because when filled they are too heavy for me. I highly recommend. I would prefer two of these over one big one. Only problem is that it costs the same as the bigger ones.

Great! Don't know what negative reviews are about and what people expect. These serve purpose for file storage/paperwork @ reasonable price. They're plastic - pay more if you're looking for super duper, life long lasting never buy again file storage boxes. Looking forward to reorganizing into these Slim File Boxes from my two "20 year plus old" plastic boxes!

i did buy this on the used option menu but...it didnt say anything about the latch (the little moving plastic buckle that locks the lid in place so you can carry it with the handle) being broken,i mean literally broken off the item.had to go back through the plastic packaging to even find it,lol.but im taking the good with the bad i guess but if the seller wants to replace it id be willing to give it a new rating but im not gonna lie,im a bit disappointed in this item.i buy lots of used items.this is the worst experience ever and im assuming it was further damaged in shipping because surely you guys wouldn't sell one that wont stay closed even used ! lol..

If I could give this 4.5 stars I would. It’s pretty good for the price. It doesn’t feel super sturdy but it also doesn’t feel too cheap. I wish it came with a few more folders, but you’re not really buying this for the folders. Still would be nice though. My main complaint is the latch. It doesn’t lock into place as strongly as I would like. It feels like the slightest touch is enough to unlatch it. It would be nice if it felt a little more secure. There have been one or two times that I have picked up the handle and the latch opened. Not very many times, but I would prefer that never happens.
