Q: Are the blades square profile? in the photo, they all look the same height so that makes the small one much taller than it is wide.

The smaller one can only be 4mm and it has to be taller than wider since the bevels are all the same size. It's a mortise chisel, dude. That's how they are. I have the set and they are great for the money. Pretty sharp out of the box but I went the extra step and made them crazy sharp.

Q: Does the chisel shaft run all the way through the handle?

I don't believe so. i think they are a long shaft glued into the handle like most chisels. they are very secure and strong. they are intended to be hammered on the back with a wooden mallet, hence the rings for support.

Q: Do these Narex mortise chisels come in a protective/display case like the Narex shop chisels? There's nothing mentioning it in the item description.

Unfortunately they do not come in a protective/display case. They are packaged in a cardboard. For this price you get good quality mortise chisels.

Q: Do these chisles have imperial mesurments on them?

No because they're metric sizes. It doesn't matter because you should cut both the mortise and the tenon to the actual size of the chisel by setting a marking gauge to the chisel width and using the same setting to lay out both the mortise and the tenon.
