Very Please with this vacuum, fan only start when needed, it is small and it could fit in my carry-on laptop.

I had a trip planned not very long after ordering this cooler. My main laptop cooler, by this same company I believe, works FANTASTIC, but it is much too large to travel with. I was very excited for this one, entirely different set up. It kind of clamps onto your laptop and acts as a vacuum sucking out hot air from the side of your laptop. The charger itself isn’t much larger than a mouse, and its gets its power from the laptop so no extra plug in needed. My laptop gets extremely hot around where my CPU is, and this did fantastic as managing it. I didn’t get exact heat measurements but normally my laptop can get so hot that typing on the keyboard is physically uncomfortable. This set up kind of needs to use used at a desk, it would work in your lap or something but the unit just hangs off the side and its probably more at risk that way. Would recommend this for traveling, fantastic company and products.

Got two of these for my alienware m17 r3 cause one of the internal fans died. After putting them both on it dropped it back down to as if there was never a fan that went out at all. Before getting them with the fan having died temps were maxing out over 100 degree C. With two of these brought it back down to just under 80 degree C under heavy load. Idle is about 50 degree C. Dirt cheap, easy install, and work as promised. Just updating this for all the people out there. I've had these for a year now and they've ran literally 24 hours a day non-stop. Still going strong. The laptop itself has no fans internally anymore. The last one died about 6 months ago. So yeah I can absolutely recommend these.

All instructions were in chinese and illustrations were no help so was complete waste of time
