Installation was easy, Ventilated metal tray and quality slides. Two points for improvement, the foam wrist-rest can get chewed up too easily, and the key and lock are real cheap. Otherwise a nice addition to the home office.

Perfect solution for laptop storage under the desktop with easy access to the keyboard. Ventilation is superior, as the bottom of drawer is one large porous surface with three rear slots for cable access. Smooth drawer rail operation and a convenient front left locking mechanism make this an ideal solution for operating a laptop in a desktop replacement configuration. Utilization of a wireless mouse and keyboard renders keyboard access an option and installation provides for a massive desktop workspace. The drawer lip includes a padded surface that is very easy on the wrists when typing in a drawer open configuration. I am using this under desk solution with a 17” Dell G7 (heavy) laptop. The fit is tight but a small side mouse dongle is not a problem. I recommend the use of an external hub for convenient peripheral access when you are considering utilizing large laptop footprints.

The drawer is as described - sturdy and spacious. My 17” wide computer fit plugged into power with room to use one side of the USB ports. No concerns about ventilation. Loss of 1 star for not including the paper installation template shown in the video. I tried looking at the company website and emailing for a .pdf or printable version with no luck. If you can turn your desk upside down you probably don’t need the template. Unfortunately, I cannot. Lock is sturdy, but a thief with some pliers and ample time would be able to break off the exposed locking mechanism. Some engineering could conceal and reduce the shortcoming.

This little drawer is absolutely amazing for getting your desk space organized. Make sure you pick a good size to allow plugging in cords while the laptop is inside (leave extra room) and you can just use the laptop in the drawer, hooked up to your monitors, out of sight. It's a perfect clutter free solution, the drawer is slim and well-ventilated so you don't need to worry about overheating. I cannot recommend this enough. It's expensive but worth every penny for the perfect solution trust me.

I purchased this after a few months of working from home. My work laptop was taking up too much space on my desk. It was relatively easy to install, with the mounting screws included. It was a bit awkward to install upside-down, and I didn't get it lined up exactly right the first time. I wish they would include some kind of guide for where to drill pilot holes on your desk. Another tip I would give to anyone looking to get this is to disassemble your desk if at all possible and flip the desk top so it is resting on its top. This will make the install much, much easier than if you're lazy like me and try to install it upside down under the desk.

I have a docking station for my laptop which turns it into a full-blown desktop the problem with this concept and this kind of setup is desktop counter space it takes up a whole lot of space on your desk to lay out your laptop just to have it plugged in and never opened upThis drawer was perfect for the job it came in a very large box so be aware of that that it's going to come in a very large wide and flat boxMade of metal perfect as described in the item description it does in fact disperse the heat the laptop createsMy only complaint about this model which is more of a setup thing versus a product flaw is it is very much more beneficial if you can flip the desk upside down and mount it facing downward and then flip it right side upIt is very troublesome to have the desk sitting right and try to mount the drawer upside down it took me several hours to accomplish this goal seeing is my desk is incapable of being flipped upside down other than that is a 100% recommend for this product for anyone who's trying to stow their laptop or set up a docking station that can run off a laptop

Quick, easy installation and makes a clean setup for my Mac Mini. I got the idea from a YouTube video which included a link to this product. It’s very sturdy and well designed. With the meshed base there’s plenty of airflow for cooling, not the the M1 Mini needs much cooling! I’m thinking about a second one for my wife’s desk.

The drawer functions fine and the heavy construction seemed like a benefit, but this creates a problem of its own when used with most office furniture. Unless you have a solid wood desk, the screws are not strong enough to support the weight of the drawer and any contents. If you have a laptop in there, that's a big risk.The drawer was working find for a day, but the screws started to come free of the material. I was able to catch my laptop before the whole thing ripped free. Now I'm stuck with an expensive drawer that can't be used unless I spend hundreds of dollars on a new solid wood desktop. This just isn't a good solution when it's become so difficult to get furniture made from anything other than pressboard.
