Doesn't work and bad customer service
It doesn't even change color at the temperature stated. My kids were so disappointed and when you return the item, you're not informed, nor is it posted anywhere that they charge a restocking fee of $6.50 making the refund only a few cents making the refund completely pointless. Terrible customer service, no communication at all. Don't waste your money.

The version I got was LOW TEMP (22C/72F) changing! Works OK, a bit fussy to use right.
Most of the thermochromic powder (color changing with heat) I've gotten has been very similar, for all I know it all comes from the same factory. This is *22C (~72F)* color changing, meaning it will be changing around normal room temperature. It will be definitively black in a fridge or cool outside, definitively white (powder)/clear (in liquid) under heat, at room temperature it will depend on your exact room temperature! Make sure that's what you want. (It wasn't what I wanted, it turns out!) If you want "normally black, turns clear under body heat / hair dryer" you'll want a different option like 31C.Applying the powder is a bit tricky. You have to mix it with some kind of clear binder base. You can get acrylic base, or just use clear-dry (Elmer's) glue of some kind. The powder doesn't "want" to mix, you're going to have to spend a minute beating each batch into the base. You'll need to experiment with the right ratio, but start with something like 1:8 (powder to base, by volume) and adjust to minimize powder consumption while still applying in an opaque coat. It's also available in other temperature-thresholds (instead of 22C) and colors (instead of black-to-clear). While this worked OK, for use on paper I found it inferior to a proper thermochromic *ink* as made by Atlanta Chemical. Your mileage may vary!
