Q: No indication that they're switched on, no led. is this a fault, or am i just supposed to guess if they're on or not??

When you switch the headphones on they should flash Blue. If they're not and you can't connect the headphones to a device, they could be faulty and will need replacing. My Sennheiser Team

Q: Is there a option to Mute the mic ?

Yes. While in a call, press the "volume down" button for 2 seconds. Repeat to re-enable the mic.

Q: Can I connect the headphones with my laptop-integrated' Bluetooth or is it mandatory to buy the little Bluetooth adapter?

I have used the headphones with my samsung laptop, and that has integrated bluetooth. I also use the headphones on my phone, again using bluetooth, so there should be no need to buy another adapter.

Q: This any good for Teams calls?

Yes absolutely! I am using it already for MS Teams meeting video calls without any issues
