Looks a very good item, i had to return it cause no powerful enough for my European appliance and buy a 3000.

So stoked it works perfectly and without any hassles. Will update in the future after long-term usage. Beware the weight.... as it will quadruple your shipping cost South Africans! It is flippen sturdy though.

I bought the 1000-watt transformer and it died in FIVE months. Spoke to the seller Gandhi Appliances and they expect me to pay for shipping the old one back to them. What good is a 3-year warranty if you have to spend HALF of what the item would cost to send it back for repair, Shipping will cost $25 because it's heavy. Notice how they don't list the warranty terms for this item. They think they are slick. Like I said run-away now! They could have worked out some other terms for sure, but they just wanted to screw me over. A transformer that dies in 5 months is GARBAGE and they don't even give a crap about their customers. Plenty of great sellers on Amazon steer clear of this seller.

Absolutely simple and perfect. I only wish I had gotten one with a higher electrical capacity. I did get 2 1000 watts though so i'm covered for most of my daily needs. If you are trying to decide which step-up step-down tranformer to get I promise you won't be disappointed in this brand...

It broke after two years of use. It has a short service life and average quality.

Bought for my UK amp, living in the states. The amp only pulls 250W, so i made sure to size way up. Ive heard you want an amp that is rated for least double the wattage of your use case if you want to use one of these cheap ones.
