Works well
We needed to dye shirts for a halloween group costume. We all wanted the shirts to match and buying orange shirts became too pricey. The directions were easy add they came out beautifully. The color was bold ad vibrant. Will be buying more dye Purple this time for Month Of The Military Child. The other dye we purchased was hard to use I spent forever rinsing and the color faded too much.

Nice color
Lovely color but did nt work in polyester as state. It came out light blue 🤷🏼♀️ still , ended up looking cute on the dress.

Not as dark as was hoping but did the job
I ended up mixing this dye with normal rit in the shade eggplant as it just wasn’t as dark as I had hoped out of the container but that might have been user error as I rarely dye clothes. After rinsing and drying the color did not transfer onto other white garments and wasn’t patchy, I even left it to soak overnight. Did a good job dying for sure but if you need a dark purple you’ll need to mix it with regular rit dye as well

Sweater dye
Follow directions carefully and works great. Will not cover any thread that is acrylic, so be careful.

Exceeded expectations
My favorite pair of 90 % nylon/10% spandex white shorts turned pink from washing with new red sheets by accident. This product saved the day, it's ease of use and end result was the most stunning pair of red shorts I own. At first the directions seemed complicated as I have never dyed anything before but after doing it I realized I was complicating it, it's simple bring water to 200 deg, add shorts, add product and stir for 30 minutes then rinse and wash in washing machine. I wish I took pictures.A big thanks to this product...

Would give zero stars if I could
Did not work at all.Purchased two bottles of Rit Synthetic Dye - one of Kentucky Sky and one of Apricot Orange. When pouring the bottles into the water, the Apricot orange came out as a thick dense color, creating "clouds" in the water until stirred. When pouring the Kentucky Sky, the dye simply mixed with the water - the dye appeared to be thinner and did not create the thick dense clouds that needed to be mixed.Upon dying the articles of clothing according to directions, the Apricot Orange came out a very vivid, deeply dyed orange color, it is phenomenal. I also dyed over a mauve and a yellow shirt and the results were outstanding. The Kentucky Sky barely tinted a white shirt with the faintest of blue, and it did not change the look of thr mauve or yellow shirts at all. This was absolutely a total waste of time, money, and effort. The Kentucky Sky did not work as advertised at all.

Put Dye Directly On Bleach Spot… Here’s What Happened
I bought a pair of green-gold CastaMer espadrilles for the summer. I love them! But when it hit +100 degrees, embarrassing sweat stains appeared in the fabric soles.I put the espadrilles in a lingerie bag, washed them with the beach towels, and let them dry in the sun. They looked better but a few stubborn stains remained.I used a cloth with harsher detergent than super diluted bleach. I ended up with ugly, orange, bleach spots. I ordered the dye but the label says it doesn’t correct bleach stains and reviewers complained the color goes on too light on normal fabricI took a chance putting dye right out of the bottle directly on the bleach stain. I applied painting tape around the heel and straps, poured the dye into a cap, dipped a Q-tip in the dye, and ‘painted’ the soles of the espadrilles. After +4 rounds and 1/2 the bottle, the orange spots are covered up. The soles look perfect when the dye is wet. But it dries blotchy where I added more dye on the bleach stain. So better but not great.

It worked. Make sure you...
Make sure you follow instructions and make sure the burner on stove is not on high when you put clothes in pot or you might burn your clothes. I actually did heat for full hour b/c the fabric of one item was mix polyester and elastine and it was really hard to get the dye to set in that fabric and technically it did not make those shorts midnight navy (lighter but nice ocean blue), but the other shorts that are a more typical polyester cotton fabric those shorts definitely were dyed midnight navy as expected.

Expensive
Product is great, price is not. DOUBLE THE COST OF RETAIL. Only ordered as someone scooped up local supply and we needed sooner than reorder time frame of regular retailer.

A little lighter than in the pictures
Overall great dye for SYNTHETIC fibers; I've used many colors before with no complaints; this one just came out a little lighter than in the pictures so i had to mix it with black which wasn't an issue
