I’m a certified master tech and have bought loads of tools from Matco up till a few years ago when I found out they just rebrand gearwrench stuff. Save your money and just buy gearwrench stuff on amazon and not pay payments for the same tool with a different name for triple the price. Unless it’s snap on then that’s different. But I definitely recommend these drivers and anything else gearwrench.

Nice set of screwdrivers with a great variety of sizes and 3 different screw head types. The handles are very grippy. They seem to be well built but time will tell how sturdy they are. They grip the screws well. They come in a nice plastic storage tray. I like the marking on the end of the handle to show what type of driver they are although it would be nice to have the size printed there as well. Overall it's a nice set of screwdrivers at a good price.

I’ve been looking for a great set of drivers for about 5 years and this is the third set I’ve tried - I couldn’t be happier. I work on my 1970’s Honda bikes and 1960’s English cars which rely far too much on bloody screws. These Gearwrench drivers fit snugly and bite really well - they even have a 6 flat ‘nut’ profile on the handle which lets you apply torque with a wrench (I use the amazing knipex 180mm pliers wrench) while pressing down on the driver handle - taken slowly I seem to be freeing up most tough nuts with this technique. Durability is yet to be proven but the handle material seems resistant to most solvents (unlike the rubberised powerbuilt set they replace) and the single piece handle design seems unlikely to break under normal handyman use ( also unlike the powerbuilt set). Comfort is excellent (I have tiny hands) and there are nice ergo touches like ribs at the base of the handle to give extra purchase while ‘speed fitting’ longer threads. I’ve been looking for a brand that provides minimal compromises within a sensible budget - I’m becoming a real gearwrench fanboy!
