These wire cutters are smaller than what I like, but they do the job just as well. For a 5-pack for $25, that comes to $5 each. Not bad. Almost dollar store price. They are solidly built and will last with good care. I have cut some wires with them, but I don't know if there is any real difference between the larger ones. So far, this one cuts everything that the bigger one does. And, it does it with the same easy cut with the wrist and fingers. So, it's a very good buy.

Very durable very well made, very durable, very sharp very convenient, just great overall quality. I've bought so many of them not because anything happens to them other than me losing them. Don't ask me how. But I love these as a matter of fact I'm buying two more LOL

Great budget tool buy (maybe not lifetime quality). They cleanly cut through plastic and soft wire. I experimented on a fine guitar string which worked fine (without leaving a dent in the cutting edge). I haven't tried the cutter on anything as hard as a nail. I'm guessing that it would leave a mark. However, at $5 each I am happy with this purchase — feels good in the hand, padded grips are good, spring return is handy. Two minor negatives: • carbon steel darkens and discolors after contact with water, • no mechanism to hold cutters closed. I give them their own pocket in my tool bag.

Works great and very sharp. Was able to cut wires on the artificial flowers well.

Good buy. Thought I lost my old ones on the day these arrived I found mine out buy the irrigation system I was working on. I like these so I will keep them much sharper than my old ones.
