It literally was two screws to take off the cover and a cable...all of 3 minutes. The mildly tricky part was realizing I needed to use the existing cable and the frame/chassis the original HD was contained in. The new HD fit right in the frame (4 screws), and you just put the little rubber corner things back where they came from. I was worried that this might be difficult...it was not. Review: Great service - It came fast, did not have any problems with it. Installed the disk on my older DV6 HP and was up and running in no time.
