Love that these are battery operated (3 AA batteries per lantern) and that batteries come included. It’s super easy to put in/replace the batteries and it’s super easy to use. These are great to have in case the power goes out, camping, etc.

This is my favorite emergency light and these were bought as replacements for some that I forgot to remove the batteries from during my last use. This light doesn't require many batteries, the batteries last a long time, and this light illuminates a wide area. I do find it to be a little too bright when placed fully open at eye-level, and have devised some thin shades I can easily tie around the handles to provide a more diffuse light for extended use with really good results. These lights are small, lightweight, highly portable and it's really easy to adjust the illumination by compressing and expanding the lamp's top and bottom parts.
