This EDC sling bag I've been looking for!!!
I've been looking for the "right" EDC sling bag that fits my needs. I've been using a Nixon Bandit Chest bag for about a year now, and even though it was great "on the go" sling for smaller items, I was always fighting with its tri-stap design. It also didn't have enough space to hold everything I needed at times, so I would end up using my backpack, which I was trying to avoid in the first place.Cue the Chrome Industries Mini Kadet Sling Bag. The moment it arrived, I knew it was already worth it. Again, it suits "my" needs and what my typical EDC set up is, and then some, so it might not suit everyone's individual needs. The pics shown are what my MAXIMUM set up would be if needed, since I don't always bring my Insta360 cam set up and / or my gaming handheld. There's still room in there for my IPhone Pro Max.PROS:- A LOT of room considering it's the "MINI" sling. I think of it as the Mary Poppins bag of EDC. Haha.- there are straps at the bottom to hold things like a compact umbrella, a regular size water bottle, a thin jacket, or whatever you want to try and fit there.- it feels like very durable material and does not feel flimsy at all.- it's easy to adjust the slider buckle for the strap which is also designed to double as a bottle opener.- ability to swap out the slider buckle with the Chrome Industries 1.5 inch seatbelt buckle that they sell on their site which I'm planning to get at some point also.- option to hold a U-lock bike lock on the back padded slot of the bag.- cool little hidden velcro pocket on the back which is located where the U-lock is held. ** More notes on that in the CONS **CONS:- I would have loved to have a couple of other internal organization options. It only comes with 2 internal organizer pockets. The larger one will fit something like a thin small notebook, passport, or a power bank. The smaller internal pocket can hold smaller things like a couple of pens, a pocket knife, or a compact flashlight. Everything else that goes in the main compartment is just loose and moving around. I might end up buying a separate internal organizer with elastic straps just to add a little more organization.- the "cool little hidden velcro pocket" that I mentioned in the PROS - if it wasn't for a YouTube review, I would have never known it was there since it doesn't mention it on the site or the tag the bag came with. It's a little tough to get to, so I haven't really put anything in there yet.- It's a bit pricey, so I was honestly hesitant on spending the money on it.OVERALL, I'm really impressed with this sling bag and I feel it's worth the price. As I mentioned earlier, it might not be the "right" bag for everyone's individual needs, especially at the price point, but you tend to get what you pay for, so I'm hopeful that this bag will last for a while.

2 years going strong
I’ve had this bag for 2 years now and it’s perfect for essentials , there’s lots of rooms for things and some big items you would never think could fit.. and with room for more. I put a Bose soundflex in here and a water bottle lol.

Pretty nice sling bag
I got this bag to replace an old crossbody that ripped. This thing is pretty sturdy. The inside fits everything I need comfortably (wallet, eyeglass cleaner kit, spare charging battery, small notebook, coin purse, charging cables, keys, glucose tabs and a bunch of other little sundries) and it sits well on my back. The only thing I wish is that it was wearable on either shoulder, but the padded part of the strap is only one the left shoulder.

Metal hardware won’t Like your Long hair
Used for a two week vacation. The pouch size was roomy and perfect for light travel. Unfortunately the strap was poorly thought out. The clunk metal piece to adjust the strap was not only loud but would also catch my hair and pull it out. The strap holder to supposedly secure the strap end would always slip out as well. And the bulkiness of the straps padding made it difficult to wear loosely from the back or front. I didn’t understand the velcro too. I’m reluctant to use it again.

Great and discrete camera bag
I purchased this as a small camera bag to carry my Sony camera, an additional lens, and extra batteries. It is a perfect size for this purpose and provides good weather protection for my equipment. The zipper is great, and the strap is very strong and comfortable. It provides quick and easy access to my equipment when I am out shooting in the field. It is an excellent and discrete bag to travel with. I highly recommend it.
