Better than epoxy
I'm really impressed with this hot melt. I have had serious problems getting inserts to stay in Victory arrows when using 2 part epoxy, and an even worse time getting iron will collars to stick to the outside of the shaft. I was having to sand, scuff, clean etc. etc. to keep my components in place with epoxy.Enter this hot melt. This stuff is awesome and has held up great on a dozen Victory arrows. For best application I get the insert warm and heat the hot melt with a candle or torch until it's as thin as possible without dripping off the end of the stick. Put the insert in quickly while spinning slightly and you're done. I dip the end of the arrow into some ice water and then give 5 minutes or so to fully set up and they're good to go. The arrows have been shot into block targets, bag targets and Reinhart 3d targets and nothing has budged. I'll be using this from now on.

Perfect for hard contacts
They work great for putting in and taking out CRT lenses, I have used this product for years, like the orange color to find on counter

Points come out
Does a great job for points that are going into foam butts, but when the point embeds in wood or something difficult to pull out, the point will separate from the shaft when you try to pull it out.

Don't burn your fingers
This stuff works great you just hate it put a blob of it down inside of the arrow shaft or in your fishing rod end it can be used for both and put it on and there you have it just don't get it so hot that if you try to mold it with your fingers you'll get burnt just use common sense

Great.
Did a homemade arrow yesterday and this stuff worked great to hold the arrowhead in place. It was steel on oak and it was even strong enough to fill the small gap and still hold it securely. Easy to work with and great results, doesn't even take a lot. I think I used about 1/50th of the bar and I had some overflowing the notch. Shot the broadhead at the target, held tight with 0 movement. Where can I buy in bulk?
