It's ok for the price but (frustratingly) lacks two things...
The image quality isn't bad. The instructions are minimal. For instance it doesn't explain what some of the menu items are such as "Car Mode". I've read that on some action cameras "Car Mode" means the camera will turn on when the ignition is turned on, so that it is automatically powered on when you start the car. That would be great and exactly what I need due to the fact that mine is mounted under the fairing of my motorcycle so turning it on and off manually will be a little bit of a hassle. So Car Mode would be great except for the fact that the phone powers down as soon as you plug it in to charge it. Lame. I love the way the instructions include a bullet point for this as if it's a positive feature by saying: "You can even charge it when the camera is turned off". Umm yea, that's the only way that you can charge it because as I said, the phone will NOT stay powered on when the charging cable is plugged into it. This also means that you can't retrieve the photos and video captured on it by connecting it to your PC. You have to either transfer it to your phone or take the Micro SD card out and plug that into your computer to download the files. Honestly after years (decades) of owning digital camera's, webcams, security cams etc.. this is the first and only time that I have ever seen one that you can't plug in to download images from. Between this and not being able to charge it while using it, those are two problems that make me sound like a broken record by saying that you get what you pay for. SO when your battery in the camera dies, so does your ability to use it until you recharge it. Sorry but that is lame. Side note: I don't understand these Chinese companies. It seems like every time you buy a cheapo device from China, the device is ok but only about 90% percent good. It always seems to lack some basic functionality or it behaves in some odd way that would be very easy to fix, but yet they don't and so their products end up getting bad reviews, returned or thrown into the trash. Not that they care. And while i am on this rant, would it take that much time and money to find an English speaking person to translate the manuals into readable English?

Failed after 2 days - disappointed
The LCD display stopped working with just lines across. This was for my grandson's birthday, so this was a big disappointment. At least the Amazon refund was fairly easy.

IT DIED AFTER 40 min
I bought this camera at Costco. I placed it on the back of my motorcycle and shot about 6 videos, each 5 min (it was the same ride and I was trying different placements). I recorded in 1080 so as not to drain the battery or memory too quickly. After only 30 min of filming and another 10 of watching it said in needed to be recharged. I recharged it and now it does not want to turn on. That is the fastest death of any product I ever purchased.

Absolutely horrible
Do not but this it’s a waste of money, it tells you it’s a Wi-Fi camera but when you try to connect you have to connect to the cameras wife which has no internet therefore you can not use it,second even when it is connected the app you are supposed to get is crappy and doesn’t work

The camera quality is good. The software and wifi are not
It claims to be a "wifi" camera, but it merely connects to your phone as if it were a wifi modem meaning you have to select the camera as your wifi source. There seems to be no way to also connect it to your modem so there is no internet access.

Junk for money
The was a Christmas gift for my daughter. It worked all of maybe an hour, which is fine for her age. After charging it back up, it pretty much died. It would come like it was coming on, sometimes the screen would light up with the logo, sometimes it would stay blank. But that was it, it would turn back off right away. It's totally bricked after one day. Total junk, don't waste your money.

Disappointed, would not work out of the box.
This Santa gift was rendered inoperable due to its inability to recognize the supplied SD card despite trying every “reformatting” technique available. Will try a new SD card and update this review.
