Cut the old ones off with a knife. Then opened the zipper on the replacements. They went on easy over the wires, and the hook. One clip has to be un screwed and re fastened. I'm happy with them and would purchase again.

My 2008 JK driver side limit strap broke recently and I did some research on finding a replacement. The OEM cable and strap assembly requires the door be disassembled. These compatible straps are super easy to install without the door disassembly. In fact, I trimmed off the old strap section on the broken one but left the original nylon cable wrap then zipped up the new limit strap around the old assembly. Replacement took 15 minutes with a T-30 torx bit.
