Roasting Adjustable Baking Rack, Nonstick-Coated Steel, Adjusts to 7 Different Positions, 11.5 x 10.5 x 0.5-Inches

I recently acquired a 4QT Nesco roaster, but it did not have the original baking rack, nor does the manufacturer sell it as a replacement part (they no longer make this small model). I checked dollar stores and other retailers, no one had a rectangular rack small enough. This HIC 10"x6" rack is a perfect fit (see pic). While I would prefer to have one that is a full rectangle, the octagonal shape of this one does span enough of the cooking chamber and it works well. It's a fairly heavy weight metal so should last a long time. It will also make a good cooling rack for baked goods. Overall, I'm very happy with this item.

We moved a few months ago and finally got settled in. Wanted to start preparing meals and my rack was lost. Saw this one and it is perfect. Able to roast cornish games hens, a large chicken or a small turkey with this rack. I also use it to roast fish fillets. It is easy to clean and folds flat for storage.

Sent to someone as a gift from their wishlist but they like it.

Perfect replacement for my old one

I purchased this rack to replace one that I had, that wasn't SS, and was rusted so badly, that it was unusable anymore. The new rack fits perfectly in my 9x13 roasting pan, has 2 different levels to use, (short or tall feet on opposite sides), is stiff enough to hold 5lbs easily, and cleans up in a snap.

It is what I wanted and should do a great job. The roaster rack was poorly packaged and had 2 of the feet were bent and had to be straightened.

I've used it in several different sized baking pans made of metal, ceramic or glass. Most versatile item in my limited storage space.

Bought as a replacement for a "Judge" round roasting tin and it fits great.Unfortunately that is where the good news stops. Unlike the original Judge rack which uses high quality metals which are finished extremely well for the money (but rusted after 7-8 years), this one is neither.As I worked with surgical steels for many years, I was disappointed that this rack is made of very thin, poor quality steel and the finishing on the ends where they attach to the outer frame are awful with sharp "fash" on several of the ends to catch your fingers on. During the manufacturing process, it only takes a few seconds with a file to get rid of the sharp edges but these feel as though they have just been cut and welded straight on. Not sure how long this will last as with such poor finishing, I would expect it to rust quite quickly.Not worth the money. I just wish Judge sold the original rack separately to the complete roasting set.

This item came much more quickly than expected. For those of you with LeCreuset casseroles, it may be useful to know that it is slightly too big to fit inside the 27cm oval casseole but should not e a problwm with the 29cm oval. It also fits easily in my Sainsburys cast iron enamelled, 30cm x24cm oval casserole. I have not seen his size and shape of rack anywhere so I was pleased to find this one. I would have been even more pleased if the bends in the bars which form the feet which raise the rack off the bottom had been a littte deeper to raise the rack just a little bit higher, but it dows to job fine. The dimensions stated are correct. I marked out the pattern onto a piece of sturdy kitchen roll, folded it into shape and tested it for size in the larger 30x24cm casserole before ordering, as this is the one in which I will be roasting 2kg chicken in; surrounded by a variety of carrots, parsnips and some onions. I am pleased to confirm that my paper pattern, based on the dimensions given, were an EXACT match in shape and size to the actual item. This should hopefully help in making a decision to buy or otherwise. Note that the item description says it should not be placed in a dishwasher. A gentle soak in suds and any adhering food simply wipes away with a dish brush or cloth.

I have a standard oval meat tin, the enamel one that has been around for years, and this does not fit. I was so sure it would that i threw away the packaging, came to use the rack and found it was too big.

Bought this to go into my new heavy duty oval roaster - thought I had measured the inner size but this particular grid was minisculy too small to fit..tried to return it and was told to keep it.So have give 3 stars for customer service. Grid in itself is sturdy and I`m sure I will find a use for it someday.Have not been able to get a suitable grid.My mistake.Thanks anyway to Harold Imports.

This was used in a slow cooker and it does the job perfectly.
