We like alternative medicine, and so are fans of homeopathic treatments -- as contrasted to strong sleepin drugs. Therefore, in order to help get a good night's sleep, we use these Moon Drops just before bed. Just sucking one in the mouth is soothing, and helps get you calm before sleeping. That said, homeopathic traditional remedies are mild by nature. However, they are one of the sleep aids we rely on. You could take the whole box without any ill effects, and the product directions on the box (like a large matchbox that slides open) say you can take one every half hour as needed, for adults and children. We use in combination with the company's Historical Remedies, Lozenge Calm Drops, 30 Lozenges . The Moon Drops contain arsenicum, chamomilla, coffea cruda, gelsemium, ignatia, lycopodium, nat mur, nux vom, and that well known herbal sleep-inducer, valeriana. The lozenges are mildly sweet and do contain organic sugar (with vanilla and tapioca). All that said, when you're having a really difficult night getting to, or staying asleep, it's hard to tell if the Moon Drops are working. Still, we find them soothing and helpful, and they're part of our nightly "getting ready to sleep" ritual. Also nice to suck on if you happen to awake during the night and can't find you're way back to Dreamland! Recommended.

I don’t really understand how these work but I’ve used them for years if I wake up and want to get back to sleep asap and they always help. I keep them near my bed and pop one under my tongue. In the morning I never can remember it dissolving. I have used them on and off for about 20 years and they’re not like a drug but they do always seem to result in me falling asleep quickly.

I have chronic insomnia. Sometimes, that's great because I wake up (in the middle of the night) with amazingly original and important ideas for creative projects. Most of the time, I just want a good night's sleep. These deliver that, with no side effects and no sluggish mornings. I tried these for about three nights before they really began to work. Now, I take one (tasty lozenge) about an hour before I plan to fall asleep. I feel very relaxed after about 30 minutes, and I'm ready to sleep shortly after that. I've been using these for about three months, off and on. They nearly always work. And, if I do wake up in the middle of the night (rare, now), I use a second lozenge to get back to sleep... and still wake up, refreshed, even if I needed just an hour or two of sleep after the second lozenge. Excellent product. I've tried everything (melatonin, Benadryl, and other products) and nothing works as well -- in terms of reliable, satisfying sleep with no side effects -- as these.

At 56, I am beginning to have more sleep problems. I have used Valerian and Melatonin in the past however I have experienced some minor side effects with both. I first purchased Moon Drops in a health food store and was amazed at how well they worked for me. I use one to gently lull me to sleep as I read in bed and I usually get a nice deep sleep through the night (except for having to get up to pee too many times but then I get soon back to sleep...). Very rarely will I have to use one more during the night but will if my mind is like a hamster wheel pondering life's mysteries and all I need to do the next day and the next 30 years! I highly recommend MOON DROPS. They are non-addictive though I love the way they soothe me to sleep and would like to use them most nights though I don't. My husband will now and then ask for one, though I guard them in my night stand. Cost wise, they are more expensive to use than Valerian and Melatonin but for me there is no comparison and they are so well worth it. Also, I have had some amazing dreams after a Moon Drop! The cost savings is not too much over the store price (unless you look for them at "Whole Paycheck" or other fancy health food stores) but the convenience of buying on line works well for me. Moon Drops are a gentle way to slide into sleep, even when you wake up in the middle of the night. They work most nights but not all. I’m not sure why, so they get a 4 star review. The good news is, no hangover the next morning and they’re affordable!!

This is a great, easy and safe way to get the rest you need. Take 1 10 minutes before you want to sleep then just turn everything off, relax and you’ll be out with no after problems. Better than medication theist has side effects. Love this

Nope!! The product itself is good I use these all the time however this time I ordered them from this seller and went to use one and immediately was hit with a fragrance incense spray taste/smell in my mouth, then I smelled the box which was wrapped in plastic and the plastic an box all smelled like fragrance which leached into the pills I had to throw it all away
