Dee Zee DZ16315 NXt Mounting Bracket

This review is for the set of Dee Zee DZ16315 NXt Mounting Brackets used on a 2000 -2500 Chevy Silverado. This mounting kit is VERY misleading and uses some VERY poor quality materials. And who mix's S.A.E. and metric hardware? The brackets consist of 3 right and 3 left brackets, nuts and bolts. There is another pair of brackets that I don't know what they could be used for? This set of brackets will not fit correctly to the Silverado mentioned frame panel holes. (Could this be an Amazon's mistake), to be sending and identifying the wrong product? The "adjustable" brackets will not allow the boards when installed and "adjusted" to be level. I would have preferred that they were frame mounted brackets. And of a higher gauge steel. There is a lot of drilling and installation work to make them even remotely work. Saying all of this I still had to give it two stars because I got a good price on the Dee Zee DZ16301 NXt Black Running Boards. I purchased a customer returned set of running boards. I guess they had better insight to see how poorly they are made. Or maybe because there is no hardware included with the running board set. I would have returned these also, but after fighting and drilling and making the effort to install them it's just not worth any more of my time.

This product is supposed to be as pictured and we keep getting only half of the product shown. We are missing the other brackets that aren’t L shaped.

It is a great product. Works well with the running boards we got. Easy to install. And the price us right.
