Product itself works fine for me. But be aware that this is a REFURBISHED item - NOT NEW. When I bought mine, the description did not include any indication that this was other than a new product. When I received the item and saw it was refurbished, I went back over the item description page with a fine-tooth comb and could fine absolutely no way to tell this was refurbished. With additional research on the manufacturer's website, I was finally able to discover that the item number for the refurbished one is different from the new one. Otherwise there is no way to tell.In addition, my "refurbished" item arrived missing one of the nuts that the VGA connector on my monitor should screw in to, so I am returning that one and ordering another. We'll see how that one turns out!

Extended display: check!
Exactly what I needed! I work for a small non-profit with $0 budget, so I needed to find the cheapest adapter possible to extend my display. After purchasing another brand and spending a frustrating week trying to make it work, I decided-albeit nervously- to try this one instead. It is the same brand as the expensive ones that are sold locally, but less than half the price. The adapter arrived quickly, installed seamlessly, and now I have extended displays. I'm running windows 10, and only have USB 2.0, so I had a hard time finding something that was compatible with the operating system and would allow greater than 800X600 resolution. This was the solution.Beyond pleased with the product and the price. Thank you!

I would spend a little more money next time and get something with better software.
need to download software and installed on one machine running Windows 7 worked ok. On the machine running Windows 10 I ran into issues with the onboard video card software. Took a little while to resolve but also work ok. I would spend a little more money next time and get something with better software.

not compatible with display link adapters software wise. so ...
not compatible with display link adapters software wise. so if you have another usb with the display link software, this will not work with it

It's ok
Works as advertised, USB to VGA, Resolution falls short at 1600x900 when rest of my stuff is 1920x1080, so not sure I'm going to keep using.
