Sunex 1500-Pound Wheel Dolly

I don't write a lot of reviews. However, I felt I must with this. My use is not as a dolly. My use is to facilitate tire changes and rotations on my 4x4's with 35" & 37" tires. Use these to jack up the truck, insert jack stands, position this device under tires, pop off bolts and the tire(s) SLIDE RIGHT OFF the lugs and SLIDE RIGHT BACK on the other location. It's AMAZING, and it's very smooth and easy to manipulate. Anyone doing thier own tire rotation with heavy 4x4 tires, this is a GAME CHANGER. You can three-dimensionally position and rotate the tire any way you need it - no pressure on your back! - And its fast. This model is heavier duty than others on here which is important if your trying to lift a full size SUV or truck

So there was one review I read that said this dolly works for putting their Honda Goldwing motorcycle against a wall - and it DOES! 4 bolts to put it together, it's heavy, and it totally WORKS. I was surprised how sturdy this makes a side kickstanding cycle to move, which mine is. This dolly saves me $money$ on winter storage for the bike. I wish I'd had it years ago - super easy to use, 2 of the 4 wheels have locks, and I am wowed. I rate this item full 5 stars and wasn't paid to write this. They should market it as a motorcycle storage secret - cuz it is.

Sturdy, well-made dollies. Easy assembly and easy to use. However, due to the shabby manufacturer's packing, it took three deliveries to get the four dollies I ordered. The manufacture's boxes are not strong enough for the 35+ pound weight of each dolly. The dollies are individually boxed, but they have been shoehorned into a light-weight box just barely longer than the dolly itself. The dollies wind up damaging the ends of the boxes and splitting open the tops of the boxes during shipping. Cosmetic damage to two dollies I could accept since it doesn't affect the operation or usefulness of the dollies. One dolly was returned by the shipper before I ever received it. Turns out it was because the entire end of the shipping box was destroyed and one of the casters had fallen out and was missing or damaged. This statement is my assumption since when I called about a replacement, Amazon indicated I could get a replacement the next day. And what do you think showed up? A dolly in a thoroughly damaged box with one end consisting of nothing but Amazon package sealing tape and a missing caster!! I suspect they taped up the same dolly box and re-shipped me the same damaged dolly that was returned the day before. I called about another replacement, which was received the next day in another severely damaged box, but with all parts intact. I had to return the dolly with the missing caster in a completely different box since I didn't have a single manufacturer's box (from five different dollies!!) that could be re-used for return shipping. A word to the wise: Amazon gives you the option of shipping in separate packaging that hides the contents of your order. Use it to protect your purchase!!

Really happy with the three , waiting for a response about the 4 th one . Good construction it seems so far.

I highly recommend these lifts. They seem to be quality built, with heavy steel and casters. Two of the casters lock, which is a nice feature to have. The rollers that contact the wheel are aluminum with a honeycomb structure, and plastic bushings on the inside that ride on a smooth, round steel arm. They come fully lubricated, and require four bolts/nuts to assemble. I did have trouble with attaching the casters on a couple of them, as the caster wanted to spin while I turned the locknut. The square carriage on the caster was rounded off so much that is was slipping inside the square hole, and I had to use channel locks to hold it in place. Out of 8 casters that happened on two. Once fully tightened however, they do not move. The arms for the wheel rollers seem very sturdy and have a tapered, hex shaped end and matching socket that they slide into, so I know they won't rotate on me. All in all I am very pleased, especially after having assembled and tried a lesser quality harbor freight wheel dolly, which I promptly disassembled and returned. The HF dolly uses plastic tubes as tire rollers, with no inner structure, that are resting on flat steel arms, so they contact the arms at only two points with no ability to rotate easily once weight is placed on them. The casters are smaller, the weight rating is less, and the maximum tire width is 3 inches smaller. There is no comparison.

When your nearing 80 years old even passenger car wheels get heavy. I still do most of my own car maintenance. I ordered this to help with a brake job. Perfect!!! Getting the wheel off is easy. They will fall off. But getting it back on can be a pain in the back. The Sunex wheel dolly made it super easy and fast. Wish I had found this a long time ago. Very nice tool. Well made and sturdy. No problem handling the 17 inch wheels on my 2015 Nissan Altima. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who works on their own cars and trucks. I believe it can handle the large off road wheels easily.

J'ai acheté ce chariot pour mon conjoint pour lui faciliter la rotation des pneus été/hiver. C'est vraiment très efficace, on peut positionner le pneu à la bonne hauteur et aligner facilement les boulons dans le pneus. Plus besoin d'effort démesuré tout ce fait sans forcer. Je considère que c'est un bon achat et je le recommande.

Great for seasonal tire change,no more backbreaking trying to align the bolt holes. This is much better than the completing brands, as this will rotate the tires while the other brands don't. This thanks to the cylinders on bearings unlike other that are a cylinder on a square tube

solid construction, smooth mechanical jack function with passive descent function. Wheels roll well over concrete floor. Very suitable for seasonal wheel changes. Rollers turn easily with wheel in place to allow for alignment of studs. Price is high.
