Good Knife for the money.
Nice sturdy blade. Sheath is ok but not great. It would be better with some attachment options instead of just the belt clip. Edge needed a little work out of the box but sharpened easily.

No Disappointment
I like this knife! It is a heavy but well balanced, durable, good quality steel knife. I like it so much that when my original one was stolen out of my vehicle; I reordered the exact same knife. That says something considering that there are other comparable competitors in the same price range. It does not come with an extremely razor sharp edge, however, it does come with a sharp sufficient edge for most general purposes. Not a problem if you are like me and examine and sharpen; if necessary, your own knives anyway after use to maintain operational readiness. It feels great in the hand, and this thing is a 'BEAST' when it comes to taking a beating. The sheath that it comes with is also well made. With general maintenance after heavy use, you should be able to enjoy for years what I call a "generational blade".

Another fine knife from TOPS
In my humble opinion, but as someone who has had the privilege of owning knives by some of the best knife builders, you simply cannot beat TOPS for their quality/cost. They are not high polish show pieces. They are designed and built to be used. This is maybe my 5th or 6th TOPS knife/axe. It is my go-to favorite for work outside. Good blade geometry. Feels good in the hand. The sheath is decent (although I think I may have a different one crafted to better suit my needs). Should be great for camping, outdoors, etc.

amazing, buy it! (and enjoy that blade....sooooooooon)
So, this is the fifth Tops knife that I have purchased and I am not let down but amazed by the incredible quality of the knife. This is a full "tang" (meaning no separation of the blade to the handle, very heavy heavy and meant to do work) and the handle is an interesting environment of nature and war. This knife is a balance of being on the the rocky seas, with the salt spraying on your face, and the harmony of life found in nature. It's heavy, balanced, well thought out...it serves the purpose. With no questions asked; I have bought an additional 4 more for my brothers in arms. All said the same thing:-"KCCO"-"yeah, this is better than mil-spec crap given to us out in the field."This knife and Tops deservers a 5 star rating, since I have used this big piece of hammered steel to damage, change a tire, get a hotel room with 3 bottles of scotch, a furby, and some UN rations.Bottom-line: get off your ass: and look into Tops Knives (my God, man, even my daughter in hight-school carries a Tops).Again...take care my brothers and KCCO

Just buy it!
I have a bunch of knives, folders and fixed blades. I would have to say this is my favorite. I would love the micarta handles to have a little milling in them for added grip, but the ergonomics are terrific as is. Blade is thick. Built to last a lifetime, and the black coating is better than I've seen on any other knife. Its not coming off.Well made, multi use knife. Another big hit from tops.

Quality knife
Excellent knife, a little too long for EDC but if you don't mind the length it could be used for EDC. Came wicked sharp out of the box, this my second TOPS Knife will definitely be buying another. Would have given 5 stars if I could EDC this knife.

I rally like this blade shape and the thickness (1/4") of this ...
I really like this blade shape and the thickness (1/4") of this knife. I couldn't wait to get it in my hands and then....wow was it heavy and just BIG. The 6 1/2” blade length is just not what I was looking for in a survival type knife so I let a buddy have it who thinks it's the best knife in the world. If this was a 4 1/2” or 5” with the same great handle shape and material it would ROCK. Not TOPS fault, I should have anticipated the size and weight and gone with a different model. This is a quality piece of steel and wouldn't let you down for many uses in the outdoors from slicing and chopping to picking your teeth.....
