Really does help. Good price.
It really does freshen up my naturally blond/brown warm-toned hair. Obviously, it won’t give you a completely different hair color or anything, but the difference is noticeable. I don’t usually love scented products especially shampoo and this is definitely not as nice smelling as the lavender or tea tree stuff I used to buy, BUT it’s not strong enough to bug me. I like that it’s not expensive. Not the biggest bottle but for the price it’s not too bad and I only wash 2ish times per week, so it lasts a decent while for me.

Didn’t tone copper out of my brown
Love the smell, both work well in my hair. Shampoo lathers well, conditioner keeps my hair smooth. BUT - my hair is still reddish which I was hoping to tone out with this. It didn’t really change that.

Decent budget toning shampoo
It works okay, but dried my hair quite a bit. WILL stain the skin if you don't rinse immediately. But it's just fine if you don't want to/can't buy a more expensive product.

1 star for broken bottle
Honestly I'm going to have to give this product a 1 star review for now, not because of the product itself but rather the bottles and how I received it. At first I thought that the caps leaked but it was much worse than that. the tops (or bottom) looked like it had cracked open on the conditioner but the shampoo looked like it was cut, while it is possible that both of them simply creaked I am disappointed especially since this product has a four star rating. In my opinion after reading some of the reviews John Frieda should find a new bottle because the tubs just aren't doing it. In fact , I've come to notice a lot of products that come in tub bottles tend to leak really badly. It's one of the reasons I normally avoid tub bottle products but John Frieda was one of the cheaper and more affordable blue shampoo and conditioners right now.

Best blue shampoo/conditioner I've found
My hair ALWAYS turns brassy when I lighten it - no matter if I lighten it one shade or all the way to platinum. And it's stubborn. I've had purple shampoos/conditioners when my hair was all blonde, but those don't work for brown hair. Other blue shampoos and conditioners I've tried don't touch the brass in my brown hair AT ALL. But this works like magic - especially the shampoo. I lather, then let it sit for a few mins. The conditioner is fine, not as moisturizing as I'd like, but not bad. But as a set, this is the first thing that has touched the brass in my hair aside from an actual toner.

5 stars because it works
It really works. smells good and a great price on amazon. i hate gray hair as it makes me look 15 years older, -so, i am vain and use Frieda hair coloring. but the coloring started looking reddish orange and the blue shampoo has stripped that junk off and neutralized the color to the proper shade. Just be careful using the shampoo and conditioner because both can stain...and will stain your skin if you don't get it all off. You must scrub your hands to get the blue off, but it comes off.
