Great for writing on!
I bought this to replace a desk blotter, mouse mat and mug coaster. The larger size is ideal as it covers my work surface edge to edge - which is why I bought the larger size. The surface can be wiped clean / cleaned easily, and is giving enough for writing on paper with a fountain pen. All in all I am really pleased with this product

refuses to lie flat at the edges
It does look good, but will not lie flat at the egdes - which is infuriating.Not worth the price paid
