Women in the New Testament

I have always had an affinity for the women of the scriptures. The art work in this book and it's sister book Women in the Old Testament is gorgeous. These books give one a perspective of what these women were like as well as a little insight into what they believed and how they lived. The paintings are truly amazing. I absolutely recommend both of these books.

Camille Fronk Olson has put together a very readable and scholarly book about the women in the New Testament. We learn what it was like for women in New Testament times; they were definitely second class citizens. Camillle Fronk Olson helps us realize what a change the Savior's attitude and behavior was toward women. We gain greater insight into the stories we all know. I have grown in my appreciation for the Savior and His teachings. The art work is also excellent and really adds to the book. I own both the hard copy version and the kindle one so that I can enjoy the book wherever I am. I recommend this book highly.

Very well written and informative. The book helps you understand the culture and the faith of these women.

An absolute must read. A masterpiece of inspiring history. It is obvious from page one that a lot of divine inspiration is in this book. Helps me to see myself as a beloved sister, daughter, Relief Society teacher, wife, christian, and mother.

Excellent resource for information on the women featured in the New Testament: why they are mentioned, how they lived, what we can learn from them. Of course, after reading this I will have to read her book about the women of the old testament!
