strong sturdy, made of aluminum or metal, im not sure, but its strong and easily holds my galaxy a15 . im sure with the newer thinner phones it will fit much better. it stands about 4-1/2 inches high and it has angle adjustment too, plus its made in a way you can charge your phone at the same time. very happy with my purchase and excellent value for the money.

I love the fact that it is foldable and I can pack away in my pocketbook. It was also easy to put together. I really didn't have to do much at all but pull it up and extend it to the desired height and easy to charge my phone.
