They are bright only near to the battery pack and very dull at the end of the string.

I intertwined these around some macrame plant holders hung in front of my curtain. They're almost invisible when turned off which is super! No tacky-looking string lights, you only get the beautiful lights when on. Will probably purchase one or two more in the future.

The battery case came with crack

These lights are a serious fire hazard. Within minutes of plugging them in, the wires overheated, and I noticed a strong smell of burning plastic. I unplugged them immediately to prevent a potential fire. This is not just poor quality; it’s dangerous. Safety should never be compromised, especially during the holidays. Do not buy these lights—spend a little extra on a trusted, safer brand.

I didn't have high expectations, but several of the strands didn't even last through one night, they tangle very easily, and a couple of them short in and out. Find a different brand.
