The product seemed substantial, but it only lit after many attempts. I’d like to think it was just a one off that mine didn’t work properly. I got a refund without any difficulties to Amazon, which was great, but I won’t order another one. I’ll order a different brand.

It was great at first, strong flame, heavy device, sturdy build. I thought I bought something that would last for a while. Refilling the gas initially was a bit challenging, but I managed. Eventually the ignition became unreliable until after about 6 months it completely failed. Still has gas but won’t light up. Now it’s just a paperweight.

Not reliable. I bought two and one stopped working after a few days

The only thing to remember is that if you put the gas pressure too high the flame will keep blowing out. Just gradually lower it until it stable. It's pretty quality build otherwise.

Great product, replaced scads of lesser lighters! You can fryer the butane for under $5 at Walmart and it will fill this lighter many times over! It also had a strong "windproof" flame with a handy adjustment wheel on the base!

Product had been working for about 6 months but now will not refill as usual.
