This thing worked out great for fitting a double din head unit in my truck came from the factory with a 1.5 din, the one piece of advice that I can give though is don't use the clips provided (way too weak) use the original ones from GM, just pop them off your original – piece

Installed this into my 2002 Chevy Avalanche!! Fit almost perfectly, had to play a little with the stereo brackets/dash kit to get the right fit BUT it made my truck look like an OEM look with a double din. Clips were a fear of mine but was ready to use my original ones BUT they did the job, keeps the dash in place although it may be annoying when taking the dash off since they do not come off with the dash and gets stuck on the trucks dash. No issues getting pliers and removing them.

I didn't think I was going to be able to upgrade the radio in my 2001 Silverado because of the dash bezel/trim piece and then I found this. There were a couple of other options but I went with this one because the price was better. Very pleased with it. I did break one of the metal clips installing it but I was able to use one of the clips from the original factory piece. Very clean install. See pictures.

First off, this fits and works perfect.The opening for the radio could be ever so slightly wider. With some radios, the edge pushes against the dial.

The fit was good. It did have some kind of coating that was peeling off and the clips are ridiculous, won’t hold, so I used the old ones.

Looks amazing fits perfectly.My only negative comment is that the replacement metal clips are inferior to the OEM clips. This was quickly and easily resolved by using the OEM clips in place of the new ones.I highly recommend this dash bezel! 😄

It doesn't fit the truck it says, I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab and it doesn't fit good , it is installed but it was so hard to make it work and it still shows all the edges because they are not fully covered, will add photos tomorrow

Use the original snaps and this is a perfect fit
