Made well and has value to it.
Fantastic, high quality item.. Typically around this time of year you see lots of made-in-china costumes that have next to zero quality control...in fact, next to zero quality at all. They are usually made to last maybe an hour or two at the most and really will fall apart at the slightest provocation. This is not one of those costumes. The material is lightweight but not shoddy, and more importantly is not so thin that you can see right through it under normal lighting. Oh sure, against a high contrast background with high-lumen stage lights it's probably going to look thin...but under regular circumstances this is a really spooky costume. The fit is pretty much right on and the sizing given for the XL aligns perfectly with my jacket size, height, and weight. The facemask in particular is very good - you can see through it pretty well, and people cannot see your face (again, under normal light). I suppose if someone shined a bright spotlight in my face then the illusion would be ruined, but given a big enough scythe and a good creepy swagger to your step, no one is going to come near you anyway. Honestly, I was kind of expecting yet another el-cheapo costume, but this one pleasantly surprised me. It's very good.

Good costume robe, I would change the face cover design
Overall, this is a pretty nice robe - it has a decent thickness so you can't really see through it, but it's not a heavy fabric by any means. I'm 5'11" and I ordered the Large (42-44). It does hit the floor without shoes, and I will probably end up catching my feet on the robe, but I don't think that will be too much of an issue. The face cover is held on by Velcro which is sewed in around the edge of the hood. It seems to hold nicely, but the cover is attached on the lower end of the hood (I suppose you could cut it out). On something like this, I'd like to see the cover as part of the hood, so if you didn't want to use it, you could simply put it behind your head while still wearing the hood (so the cover would mold back into the hood, hopefully I'm describing that right). I either have to cut it and carry it, or just use it. Having it integrated with the hood with the option of putting it behind your head would eliminate the Velcro (which could be irritating to your head/face).

WOW 🌟
So I know sometimes is hard to trust costumes online because you never know if you're going to get exactly what you see in the picture but this costume is just that and more! Very impressed with the material and quality. So comfortable and fits just right! The price is also good because you can continue wearing this costume for next Halloween because of its versatile style.

Best costume ever, highly recommend.
Had a *LOT* of fun with this. Very convincing costume, well made, surprisingly comfortable to wear all day at work. Combined it with a pair of black gloves (ladies opera gloves) and an actual vintage scythe we've had around for about a half century. I work in healthcare, which generated a lot of laughs. Safe to say, best Halloween costume ever. Sizing, for what its worth. Ordered XL, it fit perfectly. I'm 5'10", about 215#. Fit comfortably over normal work clothes, was able to move easily, reach overhead items, and bend over or squat without difficulty. Its very long, several inches were touching the ground. It would easily fit someone over 6' tall. My solution was to bunch it in the middle and hold in place with a rope belt, "Friar Tuck" style. Alternately, you could probably hem it.

Great costume!
This costume was perfect and what I envisioned for my Halloween outfit. It fit great despite me being on the shorter side for a male (5’7”). The robes were light enough to be comfortable but durable enough to last a long night candy collecting. The mask is eerie and scared plenty of small children (exactly as planned!) but you can see through it just fine. It got more difficult as it got darker but that’s to be expected. Halloween night in our area was really warm and windy but this costume remained comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

Nice costume find
Very good costume that can be used in a variety of ways. At this price, it deserves a five but I gave it 4 because I used to have the real thing and if you need something professional (as for a play) that might not do it. Perfect for Halloween, though. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 205, and the XL fit me correctly. There was about a two inch gap with the floor, which is just right. One advantage of the lighter weight material is that you will not get too hot while wearing it.

It's OK for my son's Grim Reaper costume
TLDR; It's ok, about what I expected, adequate for trick or treating, or if you aren't too picky. The fit is a little bit slender. The face screen isn't the best and might be too hard to see thru at night. The big flowy sleeves are cool, and the extra layer / cowl around the shoulders is a nice touch. I got this for my 11-yr old son. He is 5'8" and 115 pounds (tall, slender). The adult medium fits pretty well with a little length to spare. The fit through the body is straight and not as roomy as expected. It's stretchy but if you're concerned about it being more fitted than you want, maybe size up. My main complaint is the the face screen inside the hood - it's a bit weird. It's attached with velcro which is: A) too close to the front of the hood, making for a less convincing shroud - makes it hang funny and you can see it too well inside of it being hidden in the shadow of the hood; B) they did the velcro so the scratchy side is in the hood instead of the screen. If you wanted to detach the screen, which is doable but would require a small cut where it's attached at the bottom left, you would be left with the scratchy velcro in your hood. It its at the very forward edge so it would be ok but a little annoying. C) The velcro, especially when the screen is in place and it's two layers thick, makes the shape of the hood a bit bumpy. It does give it a little structure though. I'm going to try ironing it to make it smoother. I'll attach a pic of it before we ironed it. The scythe was purchased separately, and we also got some skeleton gloves. My son likes it. Happy haunting.
