The cons: - The cord could be longer - I wish it came with a USB plug adapter Overall, this thing is a dang delight to use. I’m a professional calligrapher and use this at onsite events. This is the best hot foil pen that I have ever purchased. It comes with 6 different foil colors and four interchangeable screw-on points: thick, medium, thin, and ultra-thin. Also, you can buy specialized points separately, like thick and thin calligraphy points. Best of all, it heats up in about 10 seconds, and gets much hotter than battery-operated pens. DO NOT TOUCH the point, because it gets hot enough to burn the skin.

This is a fun little tool, I use it to put titles on hand bound books. Takes some getting used to, and requires a steady hand

I used this item for a project, and worked exactly how I visualized it to be applied on the product material.

I have always wanted to try a foil pen and this one works great. The foil is a good quality and transfers to paper easily. The nibs are easy to change and overall this is super simple to use. This comes in a nice little case to keep things organized. I have only used the foil that comes with this set but I think a lot of the hot foil will work fine with this pen You have to secure your paper as well as the foil then it’s easy to make a design or write with. This works with metal stencils too. Happy with the ease of use and results of this kit.

I enjoyed this tool at first, but literally 31 days after it arrived (ONE day after return deadline), it has stopped working properly. The wiring at the on/off switch is flimsy (and visible through its covering) and when you move, it switches on and off by itself and doesn’t maintain the heat as a result….rendering it useless. I wish I could get a refund and I do not recommend this item if you plan on using it regularly.
