2 Mil Goodness for Comic Books
If comic books could speak they would say "Please use the Ultra Pro 2 mil thickness comic book bag". I purchased 100 count of Ultra Pro and BCW silver 2 mill bags to see which I would use for the 3500 comics I have to bag and board. I like the feel of both bags but BCW gave me 98 and Ultra Pro gave me 100 bags, so I then purchased 35 packs or 3500 bags of the Ultra Pro 2 mil thickness and am very PLEASED. They go hand in hand with the BCW Silver backing board, I usually like to use the same manufacturer but Ultra Pro backing boards were consistently $3 more per pack on Prime than the BCW backing boards and I needed them to be Prime for the free shipping.I am very happy to report that Ultra Pro can consistently pack 100 bags into their packs, whereas BCW likes to give you 98 bags. So far BCW backing boards have been 100 per pack as well and they fit together PERFECTLY. So far I've used 1000 bags and board of the 3500 I've ordered and I am very happy with the results so far.

I haven't tried it with comics or anything like that. Also
I was using Max Protection brand comic bags (7 1/8 X 10 1/4) that I got at the local comic book store for $4.99 + tax to package/store my 7x10" prints. I needed more sleeves and since this item was only $3.95, thought I'll give this brand a try. They're not as sturdy/thick as the Max Protection brand, but they still do the job of holding flat prints with card board backings. I don't know if they're strong enough to store something thicker without breaking the seams though. Again, I only use them for prints. I haven't tried it with comics or anything like that. Also, I was a bit confused about the bag size.Item title says 7 1/8 x 10 3/8Item description says 7 1/8 X 10 3/4Item image says 7 1/4 X 10 1/2One reviewer said they're 7 1/4 inch wideThe bag height doesn't matter to me since you're meant to fold in the extra flap, but the width matters. When I received the item, the item packaging/cover says "7 1/8 x 10 3/8" (see photo), which matches the item title. So I'm happy about that.I plan to order more when the time comes.

Good bags. Good clarity
I wanted the BCW bags (as I have purchased those in the past) but I could not find the ones I wanted on amazon so I thought I would give these a try. I do not regret my decision. The bags are good quality and are very clear allowing the tiniest details to stand out on an old, faded comic book cover. Happy with these bags. One minor complain is I got the BCW silver boards and the boards slop around in the bags more than I would like. I don't know if this is due to them being different brands or what, but it something to consider when purchasing.

What did I even receive???
You get what you pay for. If you are looking for 100 actually useable comic bags, DO NOT look here. You wont even get all 100.My set arrived in a generic sealing bag. No company name or logo.Even though it was sealed, there were only 99 inside. And yes, I counted it out several times, even dividing them into sets of 10, and recounting each set.Around 60 comic bags are in average condition. There are a few nicks in the plastic, fine. Its 5 bucks.9 of them look like someone stabbed them, once but hard, toward the top. Hm. Disappointing, but still ok.The stabbing intensifies: 8 have stab impressions all over the bag. 4 more have twice as many stab wounds and now light slash impressions around the middle, completely unuseable. What??13 look like theve been folded in half and then sat on. Like its not a slight bend, its a SHARP crease. Two of them look like someone tried to eat the top where you fold over. The last 4 are garbage pure and simple. Severely crumpled, they look like theyve been used by a toddler, and two have deep gashes in them. What is this??? There is a reason these are $5. Do not pay more, and look elsewhere. They got me this time, but you can be sure I will never order from this company or seller again. Disgusting.
