My original blade/ bearing seized up after 8 years of use, so when I was looking to replace it, it was a difficult decision - go with the original and hopefully get a similarly long lifespan, or roll the dice on something around 1/4 the price. I decided $15 isn’t much to lose and gave it a shot, and so far, it’s been a great replacement. The unit is much quieter than it’s been (bad bearing make lots of bad sounds), and the motor isn’t struggling as much. Time will tell if it has the same longevity, but so far a couple months in, no complaints! I’ll update this review should it ever fail.
