Nice crock, no lid
Super product to deliver bottled water at the touch of a lever. However, Primo doesn't sell lids for their water coolers. We prefer to pour water into the crock and not have the blue bottle on top... too high for our counters/wall cabinets. Also, only 5 gallon jugs are available locally, and they're awfully heavy to hoist up to the top of dispenser on top of the countertop. So we pour 1 gallon jugs into the dispenser and put the lid on. Nice looking, easy. The New Wave Enviro Porcelain Crock Lid does fit, and almost matches perfectly. IF you want a lid, and IF a perfect match is important to you, try another brand. The unit was easy to assemble despite the fact that no instructions were included. There is a pressed wood circle that needs to be screwed to the base under the dispenser - important for stability - and although the holes were in the circle, there were no matching pre-drilled pilot holes in the wood. So you'll need an electric drill . Also, don't fill it up all the way until you've ascertained that it's not leaking. I had to put a wrench in to tighten the back to the faucet front. No biggy, but I had to drain over a gallon of water and then refill it.

Perfect for the money
I am very happy with this product. I have had it for several months. I was worried about leaks but have not had one yet. It is small enough, it fits on my kitchen counter. Getting the water refilled is a bit more challenging. There is one store near me and I usually don't have a problem, but if the water dispenser machine is not working, I cannot find another store in my area that has one. Primo website or Google does not give accurate info either. It will tell you where you can get a refill, but it's the bottles, not the water dispensing machine that fills up the bottle you already have. It's very cheap for the water refills and I am so glad I have this rather than the water dispenser I had with Costco. No more hassle with inept customer service and water delivery people.

What a money and bottle saver
What can I say. I love this thing. It is rugged and attractive, and I spend far less than I did on bottled water, without the waste. It was easy to put together. With the returnable bottle I purchased at the local store, it is too high to fit under my cupboards on my kitchen counter, but it's great on the small sturdy stand I already had. The spigot is high quality and shows no sign of loosening nor threat of breaking. I bought a small reuseable water bottle since I still have that habit of wanting to carry a bottle around with me and refill it throughout the day. I drink a lot more water now because I'm not rationing the small individual bottles in my refrigerator. The water is kept fairly cool by the ceramic tank. I'm looking forward to seeing how cool it remains in the heat of summer. I highly recommend this for anyone who has low-quality tap water but feels badly about using all the plastic of individual bottles.

Good Dispenser with Spigot Upgrade
We purchased this dispenser in 2018. We upgraded the plastic spigot to an Oak Leaf stainless steel spigot (purchased on Amazon) and have had no issues with leaking apart from the occasional faulty water bottle delivered by our local water company. 3 gallon containers are easier to lift onto the vessel. I would recommend this dispenser!

Primo Top Loading Countertop Water Dispenser
Sturdy ceramic reservoir, plastic spigot. The reservoir also has a cushioned rim. The stand is a little iffy; there is a particle board circle meant to be a base for the ceramic reservoir, on mine the pre-drilled holes did not align with the holes in the four arms of the stand. Otherwise, the unit sits on a small table just right for filling. One nice design feature is the spigot has a slight upturn, making it easy to get some containers filled. However, the lever for the tap must be turned slightly sideways to clear the ceramic reservoir when closing. Are any of these considerations a big deal? No; just information.

Love it!
Been using this about a month or so now, and love it! I'm using a 4 and 5 gallon jug in it, and no problems. I was concerned it may tip, especially with my cats, but no problems. It's sturdy, which was another issue I had when I saw the picture of it. And, the legs adjust if you're counter/house is uneven like my old dumpy house. My cups and water bottles fit underneath it, just have to angle them slightly. Cleans easy, VERY easy to put together. Only drawback is having to lift and tip a 5 gallon jug up counter level. One gallon of water equals about 8 lbs, so if you have trouble lifting or something, then consider a taller stand that sits on the floor or finding a lower table to set this smaller stand on.

Does not stand up to the test of time
Current Review: Originally I had rated this product a 5 star review 8 months ago for reasons stated below. However, I’m sorry to say that unfortunately this product is dangerous. Approximately a month ago I notice a chemical taste to the water, almost like chlorine. I emptied the container, washed it with hot soapy water, rinsed it several times and put fresh spring water in it. Again the chemical taste. I tried filtered water and to avail. I then contacted the manufacturer who’s representative stated I should clean it with vinegar. Again I tried cleaning it with vinegar. Unfortunately this didn’t work either. Apparently the glaze used leeches chemicals into the water. I find this toxic to your health and am posting herein as buyer be aware.Definitely recommend if you like room temperature water. I love it because I no longer have to purchase bottled water (a plus if you care about the environment). You do need to go to a filling station for the water, which is about 35 cents a gallon, better than home deliveries which run about 7-8 dollars a bottle. The only negative comment, is that the covering in which the bottle is inserted to, is not tight-fitting, somewhat loose.

Working great so far!
We have been using this water dispenser for about a month and it’s working well. With the initial use there was some slight leaking around the spout. We removed the bottle and hand-tightened the plastic nut on the inside that holds the spout. We have had no issues since that initial adjustment. Overall a nice, efficient countertop unit.
