The Land Before Time - The Big Freeze VHS

I loved watching this movie as a child and still love it as an adult. My favorite Land Before Time movie and still brings back great childhood memories years later. Nostalgic memory lane for sure with this movie.

Who doesn't love a throw back ! My kids loved watching this with me and they are teens ! Do it! You won't regret any land before times movies !

I bought this movie because my son has become obsessed with Land before Time. I got tired of watching the same 2 over and over again so I ordered about 5 different ones. Since now I have about 7 and watch them VERY frequently I have noticed a pattern with these.First of all none of them have compared to the first which is by far my favorite for several reasons. The main reason being that it is one of the only ones where the kids get seperated from their families and they search to be with them. In EVERY other movie I own the kids run of on their on there own without their parents!!! This drives me crazy! There are great morals in most of these stories but the fact that nearly every movie they run off behind their parents back annoys me to no end. What kind of message does that send our kids??In this one Spike meets other Spiketails and decides to go off with them. Which I guess shows a true tail an adopted child could feel. So Ducky wants to go get her brother and decides to go off on her own to get him back in a blizzard. Her other friends find out she went off on her own and of corse go too. So yup they go off again without their parents. The only good thing is that meet an elder, who has own stories to tell. The elder goes with the children so they are not on their own. Of corse they meet a sharpteeth on the way. They all end up together in the end and it is ood story about family. Overall a pretty good sequal.

This movie was so cute! If you are a Land Before Time Nutt like my husband and I, you will be so thrilled to have this as a part of your Land Before Time Collection! It really brings out Spike's feelings toward having no one like him. When Spike sees a family of Spike Tails, he is drawn to one of the little Spike Tails, they become friends right away. His friends, however, see this as a threat of losing there friend, Spike. Especially Ducky who looks to him not only as a friend, but as a part of the family. It really shows that family is not what one looks like on the outside, but the strong connection and love from person to person. It really hit home hard to me as I was adopted. This really gives new meaning to friendship, family and the extremes one would go to stay together!

I love The Land Before Time movies!! Watched and owned every VHS that was out when I was younger and loved them. Now I get them for my daughter who has gotten into them. They're so cute!
