Q: We've had this aquarium for less than a month and green algae has already started to grow on the rocks. What do you recommend to treat it?

Small amounts of algae growth are normal in an aquarium. Algae thrives on excess nutrients in the water. We recommend wiping down the aquarium and removing algae from the decor. Complete a water change and siphon the bottom of the aquarium to remove the excess algae, uneaten food and fish debris. Make sure the biOrb is not in direct sunlight. Allow 8 hours of LED lighting and be sure to turn the light off at night. Also, only feed enough food that the fish can consume in 2-3 minutes. We hope this helps! The pump is kinda loud although we put cotton under it and it made it pretty quite

So I read the reviews carefully before purchasing. I took them seriously when they said that the large coral killed their Beta when it got stuck so I didn’t add it when setting up my Tank. I also added a small Tank heater since my Beta likes the warmer water and is more active. I did have to use a fishing weight and lure to anchor the smaller plant as it kept wanting to float to the top. It hovers just off the ground and my Beta can go under it with no problems. The Tank has stayed clear for two weeks now. I absolutely love it as does my Beta.

Great for kids

This aquarium is great for kids - I have a square tank that they like to watch but they love this one. The globe shape gives a 360* view & keeps them looking for fish & is a nice change from the standard
