Bright when triggered, no batteries needed
Easy to install. Work perfectly: come on with motion and shut off automatically after a few minutes. Great with solar power - no batteries.

Just what I wanted- light only when I want it
I was looking for a fairly bright path light that would only light up when motion was detected, and that was surprisingly hard to find. I like to keep my backyard dark unless I'm coming and going- we have lots of fireflies in summer, and I want them to stick around. Plus there's no sense using up the battery if nobody is out there. These lights both had a full-off function and were more attractive than similar lights. They seem to detect motion pretty reliably from 15+ feet away. They don't stay lit very long when triggered but it's long enough to park and get in the house, so that's fine. If you want them on dim all the time, you have the option. They're a little taller than some path lights, so they cast light for a good distance, which I like. They're fairly bright and the color is a warm white, which looks good. The stakes they came with are surprisingly stout, which was nice. Don't pull on them once they're in the ground- I tried to straighten one out this way, and immediately cracked the tube. That's on me, though, and overall these are great so I'm hoping they last.

6 out of 8 still working fine after being outside for a full year.
I live in the mid-atlantic US, and have FOR YEARS bought outdoor solar lights mostly for ambient visibility during summer evenings. These are the only ones that have lasted longer than a single summer (even when storing them away over the winter), and 6 out of the 8 that I purchased in June 2023 have worked ALL YEAR 'ROUND. Two stopped working in the last month or two (it's Aug 2024 now), so I came back to this product to consider purchasing a couple replacements since they are very useful to have along our sidewalk. The functionality of having continuous low-level light that brightens when you walk past is awesome. The only reason for 4 stars is the lifespan being unpredictable.

Nice & Bright!
These lights surpassed my expectations. I really was figuring they would be dimly lit. They go on perfectly with motion and the brightness is great. The solar seems to be working perfectly as well. They are good quality and they look great in the yard as well. I was thinking of getting more ring motion lights, but these were more affordable and get the job done!

Awesome
These light are great. The stock is plastic so you can resize them low to the ground. The only problem is my dumb neighbors can't see to not drive over them. My next purchase is a stay of the lawn sign and invisible tire damage spikes for the lawn. What!!!? Sounds bad, but.... stay off the the lawn. 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Poorly made, but has unusual features
If it ws standard path lighting, I'd give it a one or two for poor quality and unreachable customer service. One of four arrived with wrinkled and cracked ( permanent) protective film over the light, indicating poor quality control. But it worked and was easy to install. However, after about 6 months, another just stopped working. No way to contact company. However, it does have the two most needed attributes of path lights, and they were surprisingly hard to find in combination!First is solar powered, and they've charged well despite only 5 hours of afternoon sun--granted we're in southern Virginia.Second is motion activated only, and that's surprisingly rare. You don't want it on all night! You'll run down the solar charge, attract insects, and you're contributing to the population decline of lightening bugs and other friendly critters-- all night can even keep chrysanthemums from blooming. If you need security floodlights, they should be much bigger and stronger. These did turn on when you got close--although you had to be win a few feet. But fairly shoddy per our experience. Trying another brand for a few dollars more in hopes of getting a product that lasts more than a few months.

Love the color temperature.
Color temp is great. Not blue, not yellow. Seems like 3000k or maybe 3500k. Works well. Like the "dim then bright with motion" feature.

They look great at first, but they started failing after about a year of use
These looked like great solar landscaping lamps that only come on when needed and face downward directly lighting the walk path. However, after about a year of use, they started failing with several of them no longer working at all.
