Not just a pet comb, it works great on beards too. It is so much better than any cheap plastic comb and worth the investment.

So I bought this comb a while ago, on their site directly. For my hair and for my beard, not for a dog. Loved it so much, I bought another one for my wife who also loved it. And now I'm going to buy another one! Eventually I plan to replace all my (perfectly acceptable) combs for this one. I have a perfectly good ox horn comb, and I had a seperate smaller one for other times but I already replaced my smaller one for Chicago #1 comb. (see pic) They're sturdy, they're so well made, they last forever, they don't disintegrate like ox horn does (nobody's fault on that. Since ox horn is keratin, they will disintegrate eventually) and they're just really well made. The "but also" part is when it comes to their customer service. So good! They get back to you so quickly. John was so polite and accommodating to a mistake that happened. Their company as a whole is just fantastic. Great products, great service.

I bought this at the suggestion of some friends who had these for beard care. Chicago Combs are highly regarded for beard care, as the quality of construction and use is well known. This was the perfect size, and once word spread throughout the Facebook beard community, these were selling like hotcakes. There is no difference between this and any other Chicago Comb, other than it has "The Pet Comb" printed on the side. I bought 4 of these, kept 3 and gave 1 to my son-in-law. Great product!

This comb is a life saver and works well for my two big dogs. One is a Great Pyrenes and the other is a Border Collie / Great Pyrenes mix. Both dogs have the two coats...the undercoat and the overcoat. Both dogs have two "sheds" a year. I can just look at them and hair falls out. This comb makes it easy to gently remove snarls and tangles and they don't seem to mind being combed. Sometimes, the brushes pull and are a bit too harsh. The comb is firm and doesn't bend against pulling pressure. It is easy to hold and a good value because of it holds its shape while combing.

I really like this comb. I bought it for my dog who has very fine, long hair. It's great for separating tangles. The teeth are set wide apart, so I think I will only use this for "first pass" type of combing, then use a finer comb afterwards. It won't replace my metal combs. But I can also use it on my 2 other dogs who have shorter, somewhat curly hair. I think my only issue is with the anti-static claim. When I use this on my long-haired dog, it reveals static that I didn't know was there to begin with. The hair starts to stand straight up. I've had the same results with the other 2 carbon fiber combs I own, so I don't think this is a defect, but maybe more related to the texture of her hair, which is super fine and very prone to static. Interesting that people are using this as a beard comb... I can see that working, especially for long beards, lol.

The comb is extra large as described.

comb works great for combing out tail, ears and cap of our standard poodles. I like the carbon fiber in that it's stiff and doesn't cause the hair to create static electricity and make it even harder to comb them.

Amazing! I love it! Smooth, strong, light, long tines and with a nice wide grip-able back! Not to mention a very reasonable price and made in the USA!!! Could not be happier! Might just be my new favorite.

Item arrived with packaging (largely the back packaging) covered in thick viscose like fluid, very unhygienic, no idea what it is… yuck.

Yes I would highly recommend this comb. Took a while to arrive as I’m in the UK but worth the wait…

Very satisfied with this comb, it is made of strong carbon fibre and won't break easily. I have a terrier with particular love for burrs of all sorts and it as been really hard to find a comb that worked for him. This is good for your especially matte prone dog without hurting them unlike a lot of the "dematte" combs out there.
