Super comfy, good without socks. It’s wide too, and I mostly buy 4e or wider shoes, so I have been very happy with this. Was stiff for maybe 30 minutes of initial wearing, after that just great. I don’t like/need the feature of being able to wear this with the back folded down, but YMMV.

I like a lightweight shoe to wear around the house, but I don't love traditional "slippers" that look silly if you happen to go outside in them, and here in Florida, we don't need the fluffy shearling things they sell for snow states. It can be tough to find a good fit. Had some Rockports that were great that they don't make any more, and then some clunky cloth slip-ons from Vessi that were okay but wore poorly at the sole. I already had a pair of Olukai slip-ons in leather that I love, so I thought I'd try these. Glad I did. LIKES Comfort: These are feather-light shoes. No matter how long they're on, they don't pinch or overheat my feet. No less comfortable than a pair of socks. Perfect for all-day wear in the house. Looks: Olukai has great style, and these shoes look sleek and exude quality. Even the soles look cool. No problem should you be seen by the public wearing the "house shoes." Durability: I hesitated to pay $100 for shoes some people say start to wear quickly because of the mesh cloth upper. I'm only a month in, but they look brand-new. I'm not beating them up walking outside all the time, but I do have them on to fetch the mail, move the garbage cans, etc. They may not last forever, but they are unquestionably well-built and easily tough enough for my intent to mainly wear them indoors NOT SO LIKES Price: Everything's weirdly expensive these days, but brand-name lightweight shoes were already $100 when I bought those Rockports 12 years ago. Wish they cost less, but here we are. Traction: I think these shoes are probably perfect for the sort of sandy or rocky terrain Olukai seems to envision for all of its footwear. But we don't all live on a Hawaiian beach. I have noticed these are not well-suited to the slippery tile on our screen porch when there's some dew or moisture. The Vessi shoes had zig-zag siped soles like deck shoes, and stuck much better to the slick tile. With these I have to be *very* careful when the porch is damp. No such issue on normal sidewalks or any of the tile or wood indoors. CONCLUSION: These are the perfect house/light-duty shoes for me. I hope they hold up for a good long time, but so long as they're good for a year or so, I think I've found my new favorite. FIVE comfy, ultralight stars.
