Gale Force Nine - Aliens: Another Glorious Day in The Corps: Ultimate Badasses Expansion

Requires base game. Pieces require assembly. If you aren't used to assembling small models, don't use scissors to cut out, use an xacto knife or something like Klein Tools D275-5 Pliers (but cheap version). Need a small file or xacto blade to clean up where you cut. Need super glue with fine dispensing head and instant hardner to vastly reduce assembly time (get one with a brush applicator and not a spray or you'll waste a lot).

While not needed to play the game, these add some nice effects to the board as you move marines and aliens around. If I have to name one negative, they only one is that it only comes with 2 face huggers and while they look great, they are very fragile and can break off their bases easily. Knowing this I glued mine flat on the base like they are crawling.

Love the extra content that this expansion adds to the base game. Make sure you have plastic glue and sharp cutters to get the pieces out.

This product is part of a very good board game set, but after ordering this twice both boxes were missing the dice and one was missing the figures entirely. If they can fix the QC this would be a 5 star review.

If you’re looking at this product you’re probably already aware that the original game – Another Glorious Day in the Corps – is being vilified for shipping with unassembled miniatures. That’s not the worst part, of course. The worst part is that the game publishers did not advertise this fact ahead of time, not on the website, not in the descriptions, not even on the boxes themselves (!). Just as with the main game, these miniatures need to be assembled (i.e. popped out of their frames and glued together by you). If I had known ahead of time that I would have to take a lot of time out of my life to assemble all these myself, I wouldn’t have purchased the game nor this expansion.

Thanks for shipping this WITHOUT the base game required to actually play it-why would I require this shipped with the base game anyway? Stupid of me to expect otherwise- what a fool I am. Typical of the unthinking masses who buy things and arrogantly expect to use the things they buy when they arrive. When will they learn to shut up?

Super Erweiterung, sollte ein Weihnachtsgeschenk werden. Allerdings scheint man bei Amazon von Weihnachten noch nichts gehört zu haben. Einfach ein Etikett auf den in Folie verschweissten Artikel kleben und raus damit. Annahme vom Geschenk Empfänger. Schnelle Lieferung, sehr gut.....ABER.....Spiel wurde ohne Umverpackung geliefert. Adresskleber einfach auf die Kunststofffolie geklatscht. Inakzeptabler Zustand. Man weiß ja, wie "sorgfältig" die Paketdienste mit Sendungen umgehen.....
